Planet Fitness is a newly renovated, corporate location that is open 24/7, which is convenient. The gym is amazing, clean, and has brand new machines with no tears. It has more machines now, with walls and sections added. The staff is cool. This location is decently sized and offers a sizable variety of equipment, along with hydro-massage, a massage chair, and tanning. For the price, it is worth every penny. However, it can get crowded quickly, and you often have to wait for equipment to free up. While there are a huge number of treadmills, equipment for chest press and triceps workouts is limited and heavily used. Please note that this location is currently closed for remodeling and is tentatively set to reopen. During the closure, members are not being billed. Other area locations are open and accepting memberships.
I understand the importance of young people getting in shape. However it looks like a day care center. 4 or 5 standing around one machine or sitting on one machine and texting without doing a rep. Other than that we love the place.
