“I have to say that I was wearing my old black sneakers to work in and my feet was hurting for 2 weeks straight. And my Dentist recommended me to go here and try The Philadelphia Runner store. I have to say they had me stand this foot measuring to get my pressure points for my heel / arch and size. And when I got my shoes in I put them.on on day 1 my feet never hurt again. I am so amazed at the level of customer service and accuracy of the results from the feet diagnostics. You have a customer for life.”

“Incredible experience!! Can’t recommend enough. I’m not a runner, had no idea what I was looking for and knew nothing about sneakers but needed supportive shoes for nursing school. You would never find expertise the way you do here at a large chain store!! The woman who helped us literally knew everything and it was such an easy process. I also happened to walk in during a midday rush and she was able to manage 3-4 people all at once without skipping a beat which I know must have been a challenge! Shop local it’s worth it!”

I brought a pair of shoes here and after I got home, I had doubts about the fit.I decided to go back to the store to see if I could find something that suited me better. As soon as I entered the store, I was immediately welcomed by Jacob, who was super kind and really knowledgeable. Based on my needs, he gave me awesome recommendations and even told me tips toextend the life of the shoes. Overall, he was awesome. A lot of people think of going to the big box stores for sneakers, at The Running Place you get much better service and the sneakers are the same price! They have a nice selection of sneakers and they can also order sneakers they may not have in store! Return policy is exceptional!!! Highly recommend!!!”

Bought it in the morning and picked it up that afternoon. Park in the lot around the corner and behind the store. Parking in front gets congested.”

I am not deleting my previous review as I feel I owe the shop and her owner/operators an apology. So here it is: I left a bad review based upon ONE mistake on an order from the folks….they didn’t deserve the bad review but I will leave it as it shows that you can can have a horrible day and these guys will go ABOVE AND BEYOND to make you happy….you can always tell something about a business and her culture when they make a concerted effort to fix the mistake…that impressed me more then price of the shoes……definitely give these folks a chance to make you happy….you won’t be sorry…..”
“I purchased two sets of hotronic heated socks from the warming store on Jan 7 for my trip to Canada on Jan 12. I put a note in my order asking them to ship asap because I need these before the 12th for my trip to lake Louise ( it was going to be -40 degrees there! ) The store was so nice they shipped my package the same day in separate packages to make sure I'd receive it on time. 100% recommended !”
“It’s Always a VIBE when we’re at V & S Lanes. They staff are amazing. $2Tuesday Is a Blessing as it allows an affordable outting for the Family to get together and hang and create memories.(It would be nice if the kitcen was up and running). They also have the Pro Shop on premises so you can purchase equipment as well as getting your ball sized after purchasing. They also have a video game area with air hockey table and etc.”
“Excellent pro shop! I got refitted for a new ball after a LONG break from bowling and also had an old ball plugged/redrilled with the new specs. Steve is super nice, eager to nerd out on bowling and an extremely knowledgable PSO which is exactly what we need to keep this sport going. We figured out what I needed out of a ball, he gave me several options and price points that were all very reasonable. He's also been super helpful after the sale with some minor adjustments right then and there after I rolled a few with my new gear. My fit has been great so far and my game has improved almost instantly, it's amazing how much better bowling is with the right fit and the right ball. Green's is definitely on my list as a go-to, don't hesitate to check him out!”

“Frank is my guy. Liberty tactical has been my FFL for about 5 years now and he’s been nothing but helpful. My first firearm, I didn’t know how to clean it. Frank showed me how to take it disassemble and reassemble it right there and showed me what to look for online for refreshers. 10/10 service.”

“My two sons and I stopped in to peruse, and discovered a little gem of a store! Awesome vintage merchandise AND outstanding customer service. We purchased three hoodies. Shortly after we left, we discovered a small hole in my son’s hoodie. We had to catch a train so we couldn’t go back to exchange it. Plus, we live in Colorado, so we would not have an opportunity to go back before we left. I called the store and spoke to Destiny. She asked for my mailing address so that she could mail a new one out to us…AND, we didn’t even have to mail the damaged hoodie back to them. Within minutes, a tracking link was emailed to me.What excellent customer service!! It’s really hard to find this these days. Thanks again, Destiny!”

We had ordered a back up pair before we went in from the big "A" but returned it & will be returning to Bryn Mawr for cleats and 2nd pair of trainers. If you need help with fit and figuring out which type running shoe you need come here. Also it was highly recommended by son's HS track coaches.”
