Penn Highlands Community Pharmacy is located inside the DuBois Community Medical Building and is open 365 days a year. It offers walk-in hours and a 24/7 drive-thru. The pharmacy provides fast medication refills, fills prescriptions, and offers various over-the-counter medications. Services include bubble pack medications, auto refill programs, and prescription text alerts for convenience. Licensed pharmacists are available for medication consultation. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. Employees provide outstanding service, patiently explaining options and going above and beyond to help customers. There can be occasional issues, such as the system not automatically notifying staff to fill prescriptions sent in early, which can sometimes lead to items being out of stock. While generally efficient, some customers wish for an online pharmacy portal to request refills or check status. Despite rare stock shortages, the pharmacy is recognized for its outstanding people and dedicated service.
A friend of mine was unable to get his meds from CVS. They did not know how many more days til they could. I called penn at 6pm. They close at 7. They had filled his medication and had it ready when I got there minutes before they closed. They was so nice . Thank you all !

Very convenient for after work pick up and late needs!! Only had 1 rude interaction with a staff member... otherwise have ALWAYS had fantastic service!!!!!

They're convenient because of having a drive thru open 24/7. But there are many times I've driven up to the drive thru window and the person inside will look at me and then completely ignore me. If the window isn't your job there, that's fine. But can you inform the person whose job it is that there is someone waiting?
