Awful experience. 0/10- do NOT recommend. My family had been patients of Dunmore Drug Store since it opened, and we had grown accustomed to the warm, welcoming faces of DDS, and were glad to give them our business. However, our beloved Pharmacist Sammy went out of business, and now Rite Aid has all of DDS's patients. It took numerous times to even get someone on the phone. That someone was rude, short, and interrupted me multiple times. After about 10mins on the phone with this woman, I was asked to come in the following day with my insurance cards and that it may be around a 10min wait.
I sent my daughter and husband with the insurance cards and they were told it would be an hour wait. They lwft, and an hour later I went to pick up. Nope. I was asked to wait AGAIN, which I have been doing for a half hour now. I will never come here again, and I will NEVER recommend anyone else come here. Support your family owned, local and smaller neighborhood pharmacies. There was an elderly couple from DDS waiting, and they also had an awful experience here. Be forewarned! They are not deserving of your business.

Terrible experience just now! I am pregnant and needed an emergency prescription filled. My doctor mistakenly sent it to the wrong pharmacy. So after being on the phone all day between this pharmacy and the one it was originally sent to, to have it transferred I finally get it transferred to this rite aid after multiple calls and back and fourth. Once I pick it up the pharmacist walks over and says “you can’t drink alcohol with these”. I look at her and say “I am pregnant” she then just says “Oh” and walks away. I am a AFRICAN AMERICAN young female. No other advice or conversation was offered except to say don’t drink alcohol and when I corrected her she walks away! I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS PHARMACY AGAIN! Rude and racist!

Rudest pharmacist I have delt with, apparently because I needed 2nd shingles immunization ,I caused her to get behind on her work. Applied immunization with attitude and walked away . Nina Sorbella , I am probably twice your age. Have a little respect, your career depends on it.

Rite Aid in Dunmore is the best pharmacy anywhere. The people who work there are friendly, helpful, courteous and extremely knowledgeable.

Early this year I dropped off a prescription at Dunmore Rite Aid for Diabetes test strips and lancets and asked them to charge it to Medicare. When I got home I noticed they charge my health insurance instead of Medicare. Around May 25 I dropped another prescription for the same and they would text when ready. After a week or so when I didn't get a text, I stopped over Ride Aid and asked why? They told me they faxed a paper to my Dr to fill out. The two times I was there no one told me about any form my Dr had to fill out for Medicare. I called my Drs office and they said they never received any paperwork from Rite Aid. Stopped over Rite Aid and they said they would again fax the form to my Dr. Here I am about four days or more later and still no text my prescription is ready. I cannot recommend this Rite Aid since they are lax at following up with a task helping their customers. This is a prime example why Gov Desantis needed to take on Disney. Cooperations are too big and don't care about it's customers only locking in their monopoly to our money. Which our politicians have helped them with by not make it easy for small pharmacy's to handle Medicare.I had a reply from the owner of Rite Aid asking me to contact their customer care office. I contacted them the next day. The lady ont he phone was very nice. Took my information to investigate my survey complaint. By the end of the day I had my two prescriptions. I appreciate the follow up the customer care office did.

Good store but there was something urgent I wanted to pick up and as soon as I got there they closed the store why did this happen? Also on Google it says its open so I dove here thinking I would pick up my order.

Twice this week did I have a less than satisfying experience in this particular Rite Aid. Going to pay for my stuff and the card reader rejects the chip followed by swiping my card only to be told "insert chip". This happened at one register the first instance and the other one the second instance. Cashiers are helpful in solving the issue but they tend to downplay how much these card readers need to be replaced. "Ohhh yeah they don't work sometimes" ? sometimes? Several times a week to the same person is not "sometimes", ok? Likely happens to others. I strongly recommended they speak to the store manager about getting new ones and they looked at me like I had three heads. What kind of customer service is that? I ought to call corporate
