“This is a great shop! They have limited hours and since I'm not in that part of the state often, it took me months to finally get inside! It was worth the wait! The staff (or they might be volunteers) are always friendly and helpful. The items are displayed beautifully and everything is clean. “The Clover Market actually moves around the area, and the one I went to this year was held in Collingswood. I heard it was the only one in Jersey this year. They claim there are 100 vendors, but I really don't feel like it was that many, though I saw that there were a few booths were artists split a booth. Now, this ain't your neighborhood grandma using Michael's ribbons on sale with her 25% coupon to make wreaths that you slap onto your front door. For many of the booths, it was gallery quality, and the prices reflect as such. Everyone was super, super friendly. My favorite booth was the guy who handcrafted amazing whirligigs. I had to buy a flying pig that used bird feathers to catch a breeze. Stunning, and for $40, I had to get it.”
“Love this shop! I moved from Philly to Bryn Mawr and was excited to have a trendy thrift store with parking 3 minutes from my house! The music and atmosphere are great and I find it relaxing to browse around every few weeks and see what’s new. It’s clean, the staff are very friendly and the items span basic $3 bin stuff to higher-end name brand…all priced very fairly.I found a dress for my bridal shower, practically brand new high top Vans sneakers, cozy sweaters for winter, dress pants and a top for a holiday party. I love the benefits of buying used for the environment, the thrill of the hunt, and getting a lot for a little. Hope this place sticks around for years to come! “This review is long overdue ... About six years ago, my daughter was shopping at retail stores for a prom dress, finding nothing (affordable) that she liked. A customer overheard us, and suggested that if we were willing to drive out to Skippack, there was a store that could almost definitely help. I looked it up on my phone - we could get there, but we'd arrive about ten minutes before they closed. I called the store, and the owner agreed to stay open late - just for us.We drove out there, and we were not disappointed. At first, I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of merchandise available, but the kind owner spoke with my daughter for a few minutes, disappeared, and returned with three dresses. All three were viable candidates, and my daughter picked one of them. The price she charged for the dress, matching shoes, and a clutch was a mere fraction of what we would have paid for the dress alone at a retail store.This is not a typical store. If you browse by yourself, you may have a very difficult time finding what you're looking for. I would seriously consider making an appointment in advance. But the payoff is huge; the owner knows her stock extremely well, and customers should leverage this.”
“This is my absolute favorite place to go for unique home decor and furniture! I buy something I love almost every time I come (which is a lot.) The owners are so lovely and knowledgeable, and everything is very reasonably priced. Great place to find mirrors, lamps and decorative objects! There’s a huge variety of items, lots of vintage and antique items from all over the world, and always new stuff coming in!”
“I visited the sister store of The Velvet Shoestring in Williamsburg, Virginia a short while ago, and was impressed with the high quality and broad variety of furniture, art and craft pieces on display, as well as the reasonable approach to pricing. Although the shop in Wayne, PA, is smaller than the other, it still carries a large cross section of similar items, although in a much tighter space that requires some balance and dexterity to walk among. We were most interested in benches that could be used in both our living room for extra seating, and our dining room when we had more guests than our chairs could accommodate. Secondarily, we are always looking for unique Asian decor pieces to supplement our Chinese oriented home. After exploring the two floors (careful on those basement stairs), we didn't find any benches that suited our space requirements, but did look thrice at a leather love sofa, and even take its measurements. Given the pricing policy, we decided to look carefully at home to see if we could use this beautiful couch somewhere in our home and return at a specific date when the price dropped. A gamble, but we are willing to accept the risk that it may be gone. As to the Asian pieces, I was most taken with the beauty and skill of a lacquered low bench (see photo) that was nearly suitable for framing. Wife didn't see the utility of it, and thought it might suffer at the hands of visiting grandchildren. I knew better than to challenge her empress opinions, so I walked away from it. There are so many different aisles of merchandise you might get lost and not find you way out for days!Prices are a bit high but merchandise is clean, well organized and in very good condition.Four floors to wander through, with one floor of vintage clothing and shoes.Worth a visit.”

“These women were amazing! They went over the return policy with me and I did need to return a few things so I stopped in the next day. She remembered me from the day before and was super quick with the returns even though they were pretty busy with logging clothes they had just gotten in. I even scored a north face that looks brand new in a beautiful sage green color they don't make anymore. Definitely coming back for clothes when the spring hits!”
