“Stopped by for the first time today. Even though it was a bit late in the season, they still had a good selection of herbs, veggies, and tomatoes, with varieties that more commercial places aren't selling.”

“Popped into Simply You Soap & Candle Company yesterday. This gorgeous shop is a feast for the eyes and treat for the nose. Every nook and cranny is filled with colorful soaps and lotions, candles, and cloth items, hand-poured and handmade, and beautifully displayed. I felt good just being there! There is a sister store on Morganza Road, in Canonsburg, smaller but equally delightful, also a website.”

“Amazing 2 floors of unique items provided by hundreds of vendors in a clean appealing environment. Do not attempt to explore this venue in a pinch, as you will be doing yourself an injustice. Do however set aside a few hours to indulge at a leisurely pace. It is highly unlikely that you will leave empty handed, no matter what your interest.”

“Absolutely incredible store and person who runs it! He has so many hidden treasures and is willing to work with you. I got 3 late Victorian/early Edwardian artwork and mirror for only $100. My new prize possession is the framed tapestry (pictured below) and he's looking for doors, door knobs, door hinges, and other Victorian house pieces for the house in restoring.”

“This is another gem for antiques and odd hard to find items. There are many strange items you won't find elsewhere, I suggest spending a few hours and looking for the many treasures you might find. It reminds me of a store in a Hallmark movie with stuff packed to the ceiling.”

“Cool spot in Monongahela. I only ventured on the main floor because I was in a bit of a time crunch after hitting up some other local spots. Cool, curated collections of stuff.I took a star off because most items do not have price tags. I bought two things and it was more expensive than I had anticipated. Some stuff is also crazily priced but that goes for any antique store pretty much”

“I was in the area (from Ohio (no booooing...Ohio knows no one likes Ohio lol) with my family for an event in South Park. My daughter and I were somewhat bored, so we decided to see what Monongahela had to offer. Behind our awesome AirBnB was this shop. Her and I love antiques, therefore we dragged my little guy (age 4) to the antique store and library. II found out after picking out our items we couldn't live without, I found out they only accept cash and check. It was not difficult to find an ATM, plus, we got to see more of the downtown.Store owner was absolutely wonderful, very kind man and immensely helpful; I especially appreciate the reuse of Amazon boxes instead of plastic bags. Overall, prices are quite fair, and I sincerely recommend this as a stop when you come to Monongahela.”

“Had this food right across the street from here. This place had great antiques. I heard it's haunted. But the food over at 217 will put your mind at ease. Honestly cooked, just like your grandma does. Bearded guy looked crazy but was hospitable. Will definitely return when I'm in town.”
