“Stopped by for the first time today. Even though it was a bit late in the season, they still had a good selection of herbs, veggies, and tomatoes, with varieties that more commercial places aren't selling.”

“Had to stop here for some parts for a weedwacker. The staff was very helpful and friendly and got all the things we needed to get back to work. I was unaware of how big the inside of the store was and how much they had to offer. It was crazy how many different items they had hanging from walls and set up for you to browse.I even got to pet their their dogs! They were so good and I was so excited to pet them.”

“It's nice but no matter what I'm looking for, every time I'm there I'm told it's not the right time for it, etc. I've been gardening for most of my life, including having owned acreage. I don't go to the nursery for lectures & pop quizzes. I did botany at university. I'm just shopping here for higher quality plants that are indeed higher priced than big box stores. Less attitude would be much appreciated.”

“My family makes it a point to support local small family businesses as much as we possibly can. Especially in this economy….We need to support family owned small businesses . We saw an ad for Meders Nursery and I needed to make my pool area look pretty so I said let’s go! They have a huge selection at great prices! The staff was very friendly and the owner even came to talk to us! She is so sweet! They have a large variety of things I’ve never seen before. Stop shopping Home Depot and Lowe’s and get your flowers at Meders Nursery in Pleasant Hills.”

“Sawyer is the best! The Hawaiian Pine, the Beach Tree, and the Japanese Maple are great additions. Great service with fair prices. This is the only nursery I will go to in the future.”

“I was in the need for some specific anchors for both granite and wood for some home projects and while in the West Mifflin area past Home Depot first and went in and checked out their stuff and prices. Ended up buying what I needed there. The prices were very good and the store was both stocked and busy. I saw a good handful of staff they were all busy helping customers so eventhough I did not need them, if I did they were around. This is great. Sometimes in stores they are not around when you need them. It was a great feeling. Thanks!”

“This Home Depot location also has wonderful employees. Love that the Store Managers that I met have been women. Especially love their commitment to community through their Kids Workshop Kits. Not only have my children benefited from participating in these workshops but Home Depot donates them to schools and companies in their communities. Thank you for your donation and showing you care for our future by nurturing dexterity, ingenuity, curiosity creativity in our children.”

“Back on the day you could go to the general store and buy a dress or a pound of nails. Maybe some four eggs and salt.a toy for your child. Then somebody. Not sure who. Spread all these products up and down main st. Trudging through b the snow to but a pair of shoes. Just to go to another and buy socks. And then to a bakery. Oh crap the snow has turned to rain as I walk from the bakery to the sports shop to buy a basket ball. Then carry the basketball and shoes n socks to tge hardware store to buy screws. To hang a picture. And I need to buy meat at the butcher. ..Thx To our friends at Wal-Mart©. Now I walk around a well lit climate controlled space. I easily find and place my needs into a roomy cart and get everything I could possibly need.
Thank You Walmart for bringing back our American tradition. Like Olsen's mercantile or Ike godsend. The General Store.
*Shout out to Sam Drucker”

“We rented 8-8ft tables and 40 chairs for an event. From ordering to delivery and pickup was such a smooth, easy, and professional process!!! I found out this is a family owned and operated business. The two guys that took care of order just graduated high school and have such an awesome old school work ethic, something you don’t see to often anymore!!!! Also, Bill, the guy that took our order was very professional and I really enjoyed talking to him as well as the two guys that delivered and picked up the tables and chairs. I highly recommmend this family owned business if you want excellent communication and service !!!! Thanks again. Val”
