“Moving, no matter the distance, is stressful and unpleasant. My boyfriend and I weren’t moving far, but were completely overwhelmed after trying to move our things bit by bit. From the moment I requested an estimate from Gentle Giant, I received nothing but amazing service. On the day of our actual move, three charming, funny and considerate guys showed up at our door (early)! James A., Stephen C and Mikyas B. were a dream team. They took great care with all our furniture and offered to take more than what we had listed on our estimate inventory. They helped move our art collection and a closet full of clothes on hangers, all things we had considered moving in our car. There were some issues going into our new building (a service elevator that was down and painters who were finishing up). But these guys were professional, taking everything in stride. I know I was so anxious about the move, but they put me at ease. Even though there were extra charges added at the end, the total amount was still way less than what we had expected. Hands down would recommend Gentle Giant to anyone who needs to move!”

“This company was referred by an organization that serve seniors. We had a 500 mile move. They were great. They had us provide an inventory list, which they helped us to fill out, the team came prepared, covering all the furniture in plastic wrap and blankets, the team handled our furniture with great care. There was a team of 4, they worked very well together. The supervisor of the team answered all questions, explained what was expected and was very patient with us. He delivered our belongings in great condition. Bobby the owner, was very patient as we asked many questions along the way. I would highly recommend them as long as they continue to provide great service. I really do appreciate the service they provided us.”
“We recently moved from Pennsylvania toVirginia and used Garttmeyer moving and storage company. From the outset, they were very responsive. We heard back from them almost immediately after making an inquiry and they sent a representative to speak to us in person. Nina from their office coordinated all the details expertly. We had a crew of highly trained, professional men help us pack all of our stuff. They really knew what they were doing and were wonderful. The next day was moving day and everything went smoothly once again. On the other end in Virginia a great crew delivered all of our stuff, put together our bed, book shelves and tv set ups, etc, etc and once again did a great job! “This was my second experience in 2.5 years with BR Moving and once again, they did a great job. I had the pleasure of working with Pete, Taci, Jamal and Mike and they were all kind, attentive, and wonderful to work with.They worked hard as a team over two days to pack my two-bedroom apartment and move everything to my new location across state lines. They were sure to label the boxes well and upon arrival, they were diligent with asking where to put any items in question to make it as easy as possible for me to start the "fun" of unpacking. When an unexpected washer water situation arose, they quickly problem-solved as a team and helped take care of it. They went above and beyond and I appreciate it!Everyone knows moving is not always a delight, but BR helped make it a breeze for me and I would recommend them again and again!Update: now that I have unpacked many of the boxes, came back to give these guys extra kudos for the way they so carefully wrapped and packed my belongings. “Found these guys through a recommendation, and I'm very pleased with their work! They came a little late, but they texted me beforehand, which was nice. It was only like 15 minutes, so not a big deal. (a while ago on another move I'd used a different company, and woo boy, like night and day!). I had packed up everything, and the three-man team practically flew through! Then they got the rest of my stuff from my storage unit. It was a 10'x10' packed to the door, and even that went very quickly! Ended up having to wait a little while for my elevator slot at my end destination, but better early than late! Great work, big thanks to Edgar and the guys!”

“I'm so glad we hired Mac Movers instead of trying to do it ourselves. Andrew was amazing with communication and very understanding of delays on our end. On moving day Andrew and Nick were there on time and immediately put us at ease with their calm but focused demeanor. We've been moved in for a couple weeks now and unpacked a lot of boxes, but so far we haven't found a single thing damaged – including a dresser that falls apart if you look at it the wrong way, which I forgot to warn them about. They took great care of our stuff, managing to safely and securely tetris a 2-bedroom house's worth of stuff into one 15-ft truck. Their hourly rate was also more than fair. Hire them and it'll be the easiest and least stressful part of your move!”
