Canine Creations
118 S 6th St #1, EmmausThis is the best dog groomer that we’ve ever been to! Our dog, who is a Shiba Inu, is very sensitive and does not like water and she did great here! She looks fantastic, and the owners are great with dogs! We will be using them as our regular groomers. Thank you!

Pet Care

Emmaus Animal Hospital
1301 Chestnut St, EmmausEmmaus Animal Hospital not only has outstanding veterinarians (Dr. A Obenrader is ours) but the staff is top tier and have been there for my pups at times of emergency. The overall staff is amazing and so understanding. Here’s a pick of the pups.

VCA East Penn Animal Hospital
1020 Chestnut St, EmmausDr Blair Mitchell was amazing and so was Jacqueline!! After dealing with other vets that had no compassion, I am so happy I found this vet and Dr Blair. She is extremely good at what she does and is very caring and sincere. I will be keeping her as my Vet from here on and will recommend her to everyone I know. It's very hard to find caring Vets these days, Thank you for everything.

Pet Sitting & Training

South Mountain Dog Training
4785 S Mountain Dr, EmmausWent through the puppy pre school class and I can’t recommend it enough! Such a good way to start proper socialization young, while learning the art of dog training. Came out of this class with the best dog I’ve ever had, training a dog here created such a strong bond. My puppy would listen to others when left alone. But knew to only listen to his parents in a room full of others.

Funk Brewing Company
518 Bank St, EmmausNice local brewery with a good variety on tap and in cans to go. Parking is a bit limited but there are usually spots available on the street. Would be nice if they offered wine or spirits for non beer drinkers as many breweries are starting to do.
Update: will definitely stop by again soon- did not know about the second parking lot or that wine and spirits were offered, thanks!

Morty's Steaks
332 Main St, EmmausWow! This was a very cheesy cheesesteak! Lots of toppings too. I enjoyed it a lot. I thought it was a little expensive for a small, but I devoured the first half quickly! The Pierogies were excellent - very crunchy! The seasoning was an extra delicious touch! Overall I was happy.

KC Poodles of PA
3962 Chestnut Street Lehigh Valley, 3962 Chestnut Street, EmmausWould give 100 ⭐s if we could!!! To anyone who is concerned about the price of the puppies please read below (please also check out the other reviews that highlight Kara and Corey’s hard work and dedication). Everything in life has a price, but not every price can be paid with money. Some can only be paid with heart ache, pain, regret, and tears. My childhood dog was bought from a pet shop, and wasn’t properly bred. As you can assume, his health wasn’t the best. Being a child and seeing your dog laying in the cold metal kennel at the vets office, and being told that there’s nothing you can do to help, will cut you deep and leave a scar that will never truly go away. While I was crying at home in my parent’s warm embrace, our dog was scared, alone and doing his best to recover in that cold kennel. Money can be earned, money will come and go, but money can’t take away the pain and suffering of a poorly bred dog. Please save you and your family the heart ache and tears. A few thousand dollars is a cheaper price to pay, than the alternative of knowing that your decisions have led you to standing outside the vets kennels and not being able to bring your dog home right then and there. I’m NOT saying that the puppies from Kara and Corey will never get sick and/or never have any health issues. I’m saying that a well bred puppy will have a better shot at living a longer healthier and happier life.
Ps, childhood dog is still with us living his best pampered life. Little guy has certainly costed tens of thousands over the years in vet bills.
