“This is a must-stop whenever you’re in Erie! The first time we visited, I turned to my husband and asked, “What is sponge candy?” Without missing a beat, a man popped his head around the corner and said, “You must not be from around here!” I laughed and said, “No.” He replied, “It’s the best thing ever—you have to try some.”
He was absolutely right! Sponge candy is delicious. I loved it so much that I even looked up a recipe to try making it at home. The shop smells amazing the moment you walk in, and everything looks incredible. I especially recommend the dark chocolate sponge candy, although you really can’t go wrong with anything they have. We make it a point to stop in every time we’re in Erie!”
