“I cannot say enough good things about the food and our experience at the Union Hotel Restaurant in Everett, PA. Although I do not live in the area, it was difficult to find a nicer dining establishment in Bedford County that wasn’t just bar food, but offered a comfortable setting, tasteful surroundings, and genuinely good meals. The Union delivered exactly that. We were a larger party celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday, and I believe everyone enjoyed themselves. I will admit that one member of our group tends to be loud and a bit obnoxious at times. My apologies to anyone seated nearby who may have been bothered by him. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our “problem child” was certainly a challenge for the wait staff, yet they handled the situation with complete professionalism. They struck the perfect balance of attentiveness and timing — anticipating needs, checking in at just the right moments, and keeping the evening running smoothly. Well done. Thank you to the staff of the Union for a great experience. I truly hope your business continues to grow and attracts more travelers from the PA Turnpike who are looking for a fine restaurant where they can relax, enjoy themselves, and experience a casual atmosphere with a high‑end feel. “My daughter and I coasted into their parking lot late at night as our car was on its last leg. The receptionist Jenny was so kind and helpful figuring out a room for us so late. The breakfast was yummy, and the ladies working the dining room and the morning receptionist were all so kind and helpful as we had to figure out a way back home. The warm and friendly reception we received was the best part of our stay, but right up there with the service were the super comfortable beds and linens and newly remodeled bathrooms with all Dove products, which we love! If you’re roadtripping and need a comfortable place to stay with friendly staff, I definitely recommend! PS. The Starbucks across the highway is great too. There are no Ubers/Taxis/Rental cars as an FYI if your car breaks down, but the places to grab a bite and get some caffeine are solid.”

“I always enjoy staying at mom and Papa motels when we’re traveling and this one is fabulous. I knew it was gonna be good just from reading the reviews super retro 1940s and 50th. The owner is so kind the room is very very clean and so reasonably priced I’m so glad we chose this one. My husband wanted to stay at the Holiday Inn, but I told him no way.”

“I was skeptical of some of the other overly positive reviews when we were scouting out a stopping point for the night traveling on the Turnpike, but this hotel is a hidden gem. Traveling with dogs, the options are often paying a small fortune or staying in gross, poorly maintained places, but this hotel was such a great value! It's not the Ritz and obviously an older hotel, but it's very well-maintained and super clean. There have been some updates inside and out, the property grounds are clean with a welcoming feel, and the few staff members I talked to were friendly and helpful. Literally the only thing I could possibly complain about is the bathroom was small, but it was very clean so it's barely a complaint. I would absolutely stop here again if I'm in the area!”

“I love staying at older classic motels like this one but you can't always find them anymore. Judy's in Bedford is great. Just a simple, clean and easy motel. The owner was very friendly and when we had car trouble the next day he recommended a good garage nearby and even offered to open the room back up for us so we could wait there while we figured out what to do. Just a really nice experience. Thank you!”

“This was a nice place to spend the night. Staff was friendly, they have waffles, and we had no complaints. Price was fair. Location is super convenient to highways, especially the PA turnpike. Lots of fastfood nearby, and a Rutters across the street.”

He was, without a doubt, one of the nicest, most genuine, and authentic customer service professionals I have ever encountered. From the moment we interacted with him, Ethan was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. What stood out most was that none of it felt forced or like he was simply “doing his job”—he genuinely seemed to care about the people he was helping. He has the kind of personality and positive attitude that you just don’t come across very often, and he made such a lasting impression on us. Ethan is truly a wonderful young man and an absolute asset to this hotel. I sincerely hope management recognizes what they have in him, because employees like Ethan deserve to be acknowledged and praised. Exceptional customer service can completely change someone’s experience, and Ethan did exactly that for us.
