“I’m scared of closed spaces but Rita is a god sent she made me feel very comfortable and safe. She made me feel very calm so I was able to do the MRI, she is the first to get me threw an MRI. Brittany is so professional and knowledgeable and helpful she made me feel very comfortable and was able to answer all my questions. Tiffany was very helpful as well. This crew is amazing.”
“Although this is a free clinic, I agree it feels like a boutique experience.
The atmosphere is really calm and relaxed and upbeat — not drab. The front staff and the nurse are very nice, and personable.
The testing is very comprehensive (pharyngeal and rectal swabs, as well as urine samples, blood sample and rapid testing). They let you know about HIV and HepC within 20 mins, and the results come very, very quickly after (I had an appointment Thursday at 3pm and results were in Friday at 12pm). Finally, they have a comprehensive PreP and PEP program for HIV treatment — entirely free, with regular testing and telehealth option — and include modern options like Apretude and Descovy.
The last thing I will say is that, for the first time in my life, I almost lost consciousness while getting my blood drawn, and I just felt relieved by the nurse's bedside manner — giving me space, paper towels for the sweat, fruit juice, etc.
They are calm and really good about giving you step-by-step instructions, the rooms are private, the bathroom is large and private, everything is clean, I felt it was rather neurodivergent friendly — much more than most places I've been.
I felt well taken care of. We're lucky to have these Novus clinics in the area. I can't believe I used to go to really loathsome urgent care options — expensive and often dismissive.”
“I usually don’t write reviews for this kind of thing but I have to for this location. I have been taking blood On and off for the last year, and I have been going to different locations. I figured I would try out the Ivyland spot and it is 10 out of 10. I got there right when they opened at 7 AM and I was leaving by 7:20 AM as a walk-in appointment. The lab tech who took my blood work, knew I was nervous because I had a lot of blood to give for my lab results and she was able to talk To me the entire time so I would not get in my head. This will be my main point to go to moving forward because they were that great!”

“I have used Quest at its Mt Airy location on three occasions. i have found setting an appointment one of easiest medical procedures to arrange of any I have sought. The facility was convenient and clean, the staff was courteous, accommodating competent and professional at all but the most recent appointment: personal gossip among the staff who were also physically present during my most recent procedure was invasive and uncomfortable. Future visits will determine if this was an unusual experience or an evolving practice. It will not deter me from using or recommending the facility, but I will relate the experience as a cautionary note.”

“Always a good experience here. I've only done walk-ins with no appointment, and my longest wait was maybe 30mins. Average is less than 15mins. The staff is always kind and professional. They get you in and out pretty quickly.”
“I never made an appointment but I do go as soon as they open. The longest I've ever waited was 6 minutes. Everyone I've dealt with has been professional and friendly. The site is clean, plenty of seats inside and plenty of parking. I would recommend LabCorp to anyone.”
“The 2 techs working on 3-12 in the afternoon were so WONDERFUL to my Son. My Son is special needs and is in a wheelchair. He is very strong especially when he has to get blood drawn. It’s a 3 person job typically. I was there myself with him and the to women working could not have been more helpful, kind and caring to him. I held one arm down and the 2 women focused on the arm they were getting the sample from. We were able to get what we needed with no issues. I was so thankful to them I gave each one of them a hug before we left. Definitely will bring him back to this location!!”

“Needed a paternity test asap. I learned about DDC from a friend and am glad I called. The price was good and was able to get a same day appointment. The woman at the facility was very professional and answered all our questions. Got the court approved results in the mail quickly and the woman at the facility even hooked us up with online results. The experience was quick, simple and painless. I am so glad I got this done and chose this place. I highly recommend.”

“I was honestly nervous about not being seen because the Labcorp location I went to beforehand told me they weren’t accepting walk-ins. Since this was my only day off and I didn’t have an appointment, I was stressed about it. Thankfully, this location was completely different. I waited less than 10 minutes, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly, polite, and professional. I usually don’t have pleasant experiences at labs, so this visit really surprised me in the best way.”

“My 9 month old needed blood drawn and as a first time mom, I was overwhelmed with emotion. Nelly was extremely calm, so chill - letting me know everything is great and my baby is resilient! My baby was crying and it didn’t bother Nelly at all, and she did what she had to do. She was not annoyed with me being emotional, and I really appreciate that - she cared to make sure I was okay along with my baby. Thank you Nelly!”
