River Forest Country Club offers a unique golf experience on 450 wooded acres nestled in the hills of western Pennsylvania. The Grill restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and staff are very impressed with the menu. Guests have trivia night in a packed place with good food and a clean atmosphere. Events such as bridal showers have a patio overlooking the golf course, an inside banquet area, and cheerful professional staff. Food is outstanding, amazing, homemade, and pasta salad included every requested ingredient. New ownership has improved the place, making it better and committed to making it like it was 80 years ago.

You can tell the new owners/management is putting time into making this a better course than it used to be. Some fairways had some rough patches (that’s normal for anywhere around here and you can tell they’re working to fix it), greens were great, fun layout, and pricing was exactly what it should be.
