The Courtyard by Marriott Gettysburg is a hotel that offers a mixed experience for its guests. The staff is described as very friendly and helpful, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are generally nice in size, but some guests have reported issues with the beds being uncomfortable and the refrigerators being too small and freezing items. The hotel's location is convenient, with nearby shopping centers, restaurants, and a Walmart. However, some guests have found the one-way layout of the parking area to be annoying. The hotel also has a bar and a limited Starbucks on-site, though the prices are reported to be a bit high. While some guests have enjoyed their stay and found the hotel to be satisfactory, others have experienced problems with the room's heating and plumbing, as well as cleanliness issues. The restaurant has also been described as slow, with better dining options available in the Gettysburg area. Overall, the Courtyard by Marriott Gettysburg seems to offer a mixed experience, with some positive aspects, such as the friendly staff and convenient location, but also some areas that could use improvement, such as the room quality and restaurant service.
Room was clean but mattress was too firm. Television picture was not great, especially in the lobby, and stations were limited.

If you like TV's from 2004, then do I have good news for you!
Outside of that, it's a well maintained hotel. As you would expect at a Courtyard by Marriott.
March 2026
Nice comfortable room overall, though the bed was missing a flat sheet and the fitted sheet was put on in a away that kept causing it to ride up originally. The shower curtain was also too small so a good bit of water got on the floor while using it.
