“Almost don’t want to leave a review so I can be selfish & keep this place a secret. The best experience about this hotel was the staff. We stayed over Presidents Day Weekend 2024 - I did not catch everyone’s name - wish I had but I hope the owners know how lucky you are to have such a fabulous crew - from the housekeeping staff to front desk personnel- everyone was incredibly warm, hospitable, and made our stay memorable! Thank you for making such a strong first impression- we will be back!”

“I can't say enough GREAT THINGS about this place. It is within walking distance to EVERYTHING. The staff was very welcoming. This entire hotel was spotless clean. Rooms and bathrooms were immaculate! The housekeeping staff joke with us every morning. We had the free breakfast every morning we were there. The food was fresh, hot and there was plenty of it. Best coffee ever. When we go back to Gettysburg we will always stay here.”

The hosts are wonderful as well; very knowledgeable about the history of the home, the town, and had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. “This is an excellent location! Friendly helpful staff. We have stayed many times at IHG properties and always pleasedThis facility was one of the best! Very clean. Great bed, nice breakfast. Nice view of stream from our room. Will definitely stay here again ! (7 night stay) Didn't make it to the heated pool but looks nice!Rooms: Clean. Excellent beds. “Not much to see here - the house Lee used as his HQ. But the thing to look at IMHO is this place as a last stand on day 1 of Gettysburg by the union. The views to the North and West give a great picture of the battle.”

“Just spent 4 beautiful days here. Love, love, love this inn. Greg and Sue are wonderful hosts and bend over backwards to accommodate you. This was our second time staying here and will definitely be back. The atmosphere and decor is so warm and fuzzy. It's like a great big hug. A must stay for anyone visiting the Gettysburg Battlefield as it's right on it.”

“Hey ALL!!Forgot to get pics outside, all Hilton’s look alike. For those drive Large buses such as the J45 or Prevost don’t worry, the buses can fit underneath. This was a comfortable stay. Employees were very nice. I can actually say, even though there is no complementary breakfast. You will not pay more than $14. That’s just for the buffet, everything else is under, if you buy those fluffy pancakes like I did. You still get free refills, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, cereal, bengals. Yes all that still comes with whatever you decide to purchase. Now! That store set looks so nice and organized. Everything is overpriced like all hotels Walmart and Dollar Tree is up the street.Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Perkins, Burger King, and few other places are close by. Check your google maps”

“The staff is very friendly helpfulRooms: The rooms are nice size the bed on the other hand is not comfortable ? refrigerator in the room is very small will only hold a few drinks and what ever u put in it will freeze so be prepared with a cooler if u are staying more then a few daysNearby activities: Driving distance you have shopping centers. There's a Walmart, a Perkins restaurant. The gas station acrossthe street has a good chicken spot. There's other restaurants you can go to that's fairly close to the hotelSafety: I had no safety concernsFood & drinks: They do have a bar in a little bistro on site.irs a bit pricey It's a nice They also have a Starbucks with limited drink options.”

“We always stay here when we visit Gettysburg and every time it's been a great experience. Rooms are clean, and there are plenty of towels on hand in the bathroom. Indoor pool and hot tub is a great way to unwind after a chilly day exploring the town and battlefields.”

Never disappointed because you can leave your car there and not have to worry about finding g and paying for parking.Rooms are a little dated but as long as they are clean who cares?Management and her husband are awesome to work with.Not your your typical 4 star hotel like the higher end ones. But if you want the convenience of location then this is for you.If your expecting ambiance then find somewhere else.For me it was perfect.Martin J. Escobedo”

“We liked the restaurant, the lounge was great, the staff friendly and helpful. The on-site deli was great. They have an indoor heated pool. Also an arcade with some family games. Work out room. A great place for conventions. The breakfast in the morning was great.The rooms were clean and adequate.Food & drinks: The food was great. I ordered the fresh pasta with alfredo sauce and chicken. It was delicious. The bartenders were great friendly and professional.”
“Very nice historic hotel. The room was clean and we enjoyed the pub in the basement. It's an easy walk to town and the local attractions. The only recommendation I have is that if you are in bed early, ask for the upper floor or the carriage house. We were directly above the pub entrance and it was loud until the pub closed at 11pm . Overall a great experience and we would stay again.”
