“We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! It’s just like the pictures you see truly a great deal for your money. The location is super convenient, right off the highway, making it so easy to get around. The staff were so friendly and welcoming you can really feel their kindness. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh options and delicious coffee available 24/7, along with warm tea. It’s those little touches that made my mornings special. Again best staff! The gym may be small, but it had everything I needed to stay active. The pool was clean, and my room was spotless clean and no weird smells anywhere! I was grateful for the easy commute, especially since I had to travel about 10 miles for work event daily for 7 days. There’s a little shopping area and a few small restaurant within walking distance, and if you want more options, a quick drive up the highway does the trick. Overall, I’m so thankful for the great service and warm atmosphere here. If you’re considering a stay, don’t hesitate! You’ll feel right at home. Thank you Holiday Inn Gettysburg I will be back soon.”

“We had a wonderful two-night stay at Lightner Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming. Our room was both fun and authentic, full of character while still being comfortable and relaxing.
The breakfasts each morning were absolutely amazing—delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and a highlight of our stay. The hosts truly made the experience special; they were engaging, attentive, and incredibly helpful with anything we needed.
If you’re looking for a charming, memorable getaway with personal touches and outstanding hospitality, this is the place to stay. We would absolutely return!”
“Hotel is within walking distance to everything downtown. Excellent hot breakfast every morning with a ton of hot & cold choices. Parking is great & there's an ATM in the lobby. Room was clean and the only noise we heard at night was the traffic going down the street. Very nice!”

“I had a wonderful overnight with friends. The hospitality was above & beyond and the food was truly delicious! It was a really chilly December night and we were toasty warm inside the inn enjoying the beautiful view. Every window had a fantastic view.”

“Absolutely amazing place in a location convenient to everything Gettysburg has to offer. The rooms are beautifully appointed and super comfortable and impeccably maintained. The staff is incredible - so friendly and helpful. The proprietors are on-site and make you feel totally welcome. On-site dining and bar is a plus especially since the food is delicious and the service is awesome. The building is very cool and also historically significant. If you’re lucky enough to find a vacancy you need to book it!”
“A beautiful historical home, in the heart of everything. Our suite was huge and well appointed, extremely comfortable. Huge four poster bed, cleverly hidden kitchenette, spacious seating area.
And tons of atmosphere! Loved the experience!”
“The home of Mary Thompson that Robert E Lee used during the battle of Gettysburg. You will find info about both the battle AND of Mary!
We were finally lucky enough to catch it open. It is only open certain times, so if you see it’s open stop in wander around both the house and the grounds.”
“We had a really nice, relaxing weekend at the Wyndham. We were there in December, so low tourist time. It was quiet and the service was great. We enjoyed two meals at the Oak room.... FABULOUS! Service was top notch there as well. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were great. Some things could use a freshen up, but nothing to take away from your visit. Great for a get away and perhaps a family trip to the area. Highly recommend. Enjoy!”

“Room was nice. Beds was decently soft.. Pool and hot tub, nice- but small. Staff were nice. The place is going through renovations which supposedly started back 2nd week of January and was supposed to take about 2 weeks, they are still going... so that's odd.”

“The hotel is nicely updated (ignore some of the older photos on Google). We had a mix-up with our room and they gave us some free meal vouchers which we felt was very generous.
Maria, I believe she is a manager in dining services, was very accommodating of my vegan diet at the bistro. She recognized me the following day at The Oak room and thought to check on me to make sure I had found enough to eat. How kind!! That really made a difference in my stay. Thank you.”

“The check in was so easy!
The room was clean and the bathroom has great water pressure. There is a pool but we went during off season and it was cold and wet.
The location was great it was in walking distance of anything you needed and not far from the town square. We will stay here again! Check out was super simple and the woman who runs it was so kind!”
“The hotel is clean, we did not expect to have a balcony facing their indoor pool. That was disappointing we were expecting to be able to sit on the balcony and watch the trees and birds not people swimming and sweating because it was so humid from the heated pool. We won't be staying there anytime soon”
“Quick and easy check-in. Room was nicer and larger than we expected. Hotel was relatively quiet. Breakfast was good with both pancakes and waffles, an egg choice, a breakfast meat choice, fruits, yogurts and more. Beds were comfortable, blankets were thin. Perfect spot to stay for a Gettysburg visit. Definitely would return.”
