The Doubleday Inn is a bed and breakfast located directly on the Gettysburg battlefield, providing a perfect and quiet spot for history lovers. The owners are wonderful, sweet, welcoming, and very accommodating hosts with vast knowledge of the area. They provide great recommendations for places to eat and shop. A highlight of the stay is the delicious breakfast served each morning, which includes utterly amazing French toast, yummy bacon, fresh fruit, and syrup. The inn also offers lovely amenities, a relaxing patio with a peaceful view, and free parking. Some guests have even reported intriguing paranormal experiences during their stay. Visitors highly recommend the Doubleday Inn for a great and memorable experience.
Perfect location on the battlefield. Stayed in Robert E Lee room. Bed was cozy king size..very quiet free parking. Yummy breakfast..wonderful owners. Very accommodating. I definitely recommend staying..close to town.

Located at the edge of the battlefield, this 9 bedroom B&B has very welcoming hosts, lovely amenities, including comfortable beds, great breakfasts, a lot of historical pictures, books, and collectibles, and is close to town as well.

Had a great stay for College reunion weekend. Clean and cozy rooms. Greg and Sue were extremely welcoming.
