If i could give this pharmacy 0 stars and still a review i would. I went there monday night, 8 months pregnant with my husband for him to get his TDAP vaccine that both my dr, my ob, and the babies dr all cleared for him to get. They said unless hes 5 years out or less then he doesnt need it but its still nice to get a booster. All of them explained and emphasized about the pertussis part of the vaccine and how those are what we need protection against and how that doesnt last the full 10 years. Anyway we go to the pharmacy and they look at us like wide eyes and then proceed to give my husband some paperwork to fill out. They asked for his name and birthday and then once he turned the paperwork in they somehow pulled his medical records and found he got the vaccine 9 years ago. I told them the drs all said we have to get the booster for the pertussis argued with the pharmacist that you can give it to him its not a problem explained that if pregnant people can get the vaccine every year so can my husband and left feeling defeated and honestly so upset. It felt like they were making me second guess my gut, and my doctors, and making me feel so belittled. All because they blame some policy. Well whatever policy it is needs to change or at least be modified for new and expecting parents. Its our choice as parents if we want to give ourselves this vaccine. Its our duty as parents to protect this child. Its in no way this pharmacys decision in whether or not my husband can get this vaccine a year early to potentially prevent our child from dying from whooping cough.
Oh and btw its just this giant eagle because the drs office, the walmart in gibsonia and walgreens will all give it to new and expecting fathers. Which doubles this negative review.

If I could give no stars I would. A prescription was done last night for my mom who is sick with covid. They claimed this morning at 8am they never received it and we called the doctors office. It was sent over again at 10am when we called because it wasn't "signed". I just called again at noon and they said they just spoke with the doctors office and it would be 40 more minutes. Seriously this place is awful. I switched to rite aid about 10 years ago and this is exactly I would never go back.

First, this used to be my pharmacy. So many simple problems ensued... They had all of my kids' info incorrect. I called the insurance company to verify I submitted it correctly. I did. The pharm tech input everything wrong. We left.
Fast forward, I called in a script for 6 pills, a very basic antibiotic. I used them because they opened an hour earlier than others on Sunday. OVER 2 HOURS to fill it. A large chunk of pharmacy is counting... 6 must be tricky.

Was going to CvS in Marx but wanted to have my husbands prescriptions transferred to GE for convenience. Spoke to Kimberly by phone and in person. Very very rude. Told her we had 10 refills left. She argued with me like I was stupid. Told her to look at the bottle. Still argued with me. Very frustrating.

This is the worst pharmacy to go to. They never have your scripts on time. If you are on a medication that you need to take everyday don't go here. This is currently my 4th time in the past year that I have been 2 weeks without medication bc the pharmacy can't get their stuff together. They will try telling you they are waiting on the doctor. It's just they don't want to fill it. Each time I have contacted my doctor and they have already sent prescriptions and refills over.

Kayla is the only one that is patient and kind. My mom recently had her insurance approve a name brand medication due to the generic being out of stock everywhere. She called this pharmacy at least 4 times and always got someone who didn’t want to deal with it and said her insurance company was at fault and to call them. Finally my mom got Kayla and Kayla sat on the phone with her for 15 min trying code after code after code until finally finding the correct code that worked. I’ve always had good experiences with Kayla as well. But this just shows you that she cares about her job and helping her customers.
