I was told to use were turned back . My automatic payments , government and investment were turned back even though there was thousands in the checking and savings accounts . Still trying to straighten the financial mess that l was lied to about, o yes it was all my fault l was curtly told . I thought that Mars was just an old fashion bank but God how l miss them . Yes I’m shopping for a bank that knows how to treat people. There’s more, because I have still had not received my SS checks the government has not been able to deduct for Medicare and they will suspend my coverage if I don’t send $ 700 . I have made dozens of calls to SS oven the last two months and been told to be patient. I have a hand written note from a bank official describing all the automatic payments and deposits that they would take care of . Am I upset with NexTier , not more than a little bit. Once the government gets involved , forget it. Three months and still no checks and Medacare wants there money , and guess where this all started.

Wait time at the drive thru is terrible since the merger. Nowhere near as efficient as the staff at the former site in Northtowne.

My husband has banked with Mars since he was old enough to have his own account (over 30 years). I went to get a cashier's check on his behalf (we're both on the account), and here's what happened: 1. Mars charges $12 for a cashier's check. Imagine that, getting charged to get your own money! 2. The branch manager, and two other tellers came over to speak with me when I questioned why it cost me money to get my own money. It was like they surrounded me because I questioned their policies. 3. They asked me more than once what the money was for. Totally inappropriate. What I do with my money is my business! Will NEVER bank there again. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and ridiculous policies.

I have been with this bank since I was 16. They have always treated me well and still are able to work with you unlike larger national banks..

Horrible bank......not helpful at all n very rude. When withdraw money they ask what you are using your money for and asking why you are depositing large checks...

Everyone is always so polite. I can not say that I have had one bad experience with this bank in the last 12 years since I moved from NY.
