I’ve been coming to Lab Services at Folkstone Plaza for many years, and I can confidently say this is the only place I trust for lab work. The staff is consistently professional, kind, warm, and welcoming. They always greet you with a smile and make the entire process smooth and stress-free.
Whether it’s routine blood work, pre-surgery labs, or testing for a physical, I only come here—and I bring my family and children too. They’re incredibly efficient, fast, and knowledgeable. After all these years, I’ve never had a single bad experience.
What truly sets them apart is how genuinely caring and attentive they are. They make something that could feel uncomfortable or stressful actually pleasant. I always leave feeling well taken care of.

Yesterday, my doctor's office neglected one cancer screening panel and she informed me that if they sent the prescription in that day it could still be added. All the phlebotomists at the site I go to 5 minutes from my house are great. The check-ins are always very fast.”

“This is my third time coming to this LabCorp location. Each time – my experience has been great! I make an appointment in advance, I come in at my appointed time, I am seen within five minutes, I have my blood drawn, and I am out the door. I don’t think it’s ever taken longer than 10 minutes. The people are friendly, professional, and relatively pain-free :-) Great for a chicken like me!”
“I had some labwork ordered for my son and was told to schedule here. I was really anxious as he is only a year old. I was thankful that when we checked in they informed me that they didn't have a needle small enough, rather than try and poke him tons of times. We did not get seen but the staff were very freindly and considerate.”
“The ladies working here are *amazing*. I took my two daughters (11 & 14) here today. It was my 11yo’s first blood draw and the ladies were so encouraging and kind. They even spoke with such encouragement to them saying things like “you got this!” and “you can do this!” calling them both by their names. They calmed any anxiety they had and did an amazing job getting the blood needed. Highly recommend. Every labcorp should have employees just like these two woman. Fantastic.”
“Have been here twice for blood work and have had great experiences both times. Easy to make an appointment and staff was extremely friendly. I appreciated them having appointments for saturday as it's difficult to go during the week due to work. Did not wait long. The only thing i would recommend is better directions to the lab. First time I struggled to find it. Other than that, I am pleased with my experiences.”

“BCL is hands down the quickest and best local lab, instead of waiting an hr+ to have your blood drawn you'll literally be at BCL for 10 mins even if you've never been there before... Vannida & Jaime are amazing receptionists.. the specimens all get tested and resulted super quick and the people at BCL will meet your needs and expectations”
“Very fast for appointments and the phlebotomist I got was excellent - I barely felt the needle insertion and she was kind enough to wrap the hole with compression wrap that I brought with me. In and out in 5 minutes.”

“Although I am never going to be comfortable getting blood drawn at a lab (very intense anxiety), the staff here helped me get through it. The person who drew my blood was Amanda, and I drove an hour to come to this location to work with her based on another review I had read. Totally worth it. The person who checked me in (the second part of check-in, after the self-serve kiosk when you first enter) was also very kind and understanding. I am so grateful for human kindness while trying to get through life necessities.”

Ladies will come out from behind to personally assist me. They make it so easy. “My daughter needed lab work and had a vagal response, passing out during the blood draw. The two women who attended to her were excellent, not only stabilizing and calming her, but later finishing the work while she was lying down.”
“This is my second time at this location within the last week. I spent a lot of time here this morning for my three hour gestational diabetes test. This test requires 4 specifically timed blood draws- and the techs were looking out and mindful to be sure they drew the blood right on time, every time. Everyone is so nice, thoughtful, and kind. There were some grumpy folks throughout the morning that they were very patient and accommodating to. I’d highly recommend going here if you have a long lab work because they have a comfort room to wait in between testing sessions.

“This location does not deserve the low ratings it is given. The staff are pleasant, quick, and knowledgeable in their job. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Some things of note:
1. Please bring printed copies of your form for your testing. They do not have a printer you can use, you must bring one.
2. Please set an appointment, they will be able to see you near instantly most of the time. This is not urgent care! It will be busy during their opening hours before people have to go to their 9-5's.
3. The waiting room is tiny (think two chairs) but you can check in on your phone in the parking lot and they will let you know when you are ready. They can only do this if you make an appointment!
Once again this is a very quick and easy location with an excellent staff, please print your papers beforehand, and set an appointment instead of treating it like urgent care.”
