“I was struggling to find someone who could remove a rounded off and stuck oil pan drain plug. I asked for word-of-mouth suggestions and Van Meter came up. Keith called me around 2:30PM and was able to squeeze me in the same day, after I was done work. Not only was his team able to remove the plug, but he also showed it to me and described what he thought the original cause was. Finally, they reached out by text the following day to make sure that I was satisfied with the quality of their workmanship. Therefore, between the attention to detail and the fact that I live only about two miles from their shop, I plan on returning for my automotive needs.”

“As a woman, I felt the need to put a review & I'll tell you why. First, let me make it clear, KX Auto is my only auto shop. I personally will take my car there & feel comfortable. This is for the women who are looking for an auto shop.I've been going to KX since 2018 or 2019, I can't remember. These guys have solid work ethic & provide quality service to my car. They've seen both mine & my husband's car & provide fair pricing. They're the only people I trust with our car now because they've helped me troubleshoot my oil issue & they're the only ones that know what to do. Since then, I'm stuck- love this auto shop.They're thorough, explain everything to me, they'll take pictures & send it to me to show me the issue, they've given me time to make a decision if it's a big fix, I'll even do my research & try to figure out what I'm saying & what I find is that they're honest too & if I have any questions they don't make me feel dumb because I'm a woman-- I've gone to places that have made me feel pretty uncomfortable. They have seen me move through life as a single to married woman. Despite me having my husband, if I dropped off the car they'll call me & provide updates/inquire what I want to do next. I don't know about you, but I want that. I feel respected in this small way that they treat me. I don't feel sterotyped or made out to be not as competent with my car. They'll communicate with me as they do with him. Super professional & I hope they never leave the Philadelphia area or be forced out of business.Parking can be hard because they're located on Washington Ave. There's construction & a new apartment is coming in so I don't know how that'll impact accessibility to them. But, I'm going to keep coming.This is the only auto shop I’d recommend & given other reviews, that means they get booked up & busy. So, if you need something serviced, regularly like an oil change or inspection, I’d schedule it out in advance. If you’re in a bind, they’ll try to work it out & help you.My only concern is that I dont know when these guys go on vacation. Honest concern because I want this auto shop around for a long time. If they scheduled a 2 week vacation I wouldn't be mad & just schedule my services before or after.This is how an auto shop should be. I should've written this years ago!!”

“We bought a car for our 2 teenage boys. It's a 2013 ford escape, elderly owner so extremely low miles for a 10 year old car (35K). We had it for a couple weeks and the engine light came on. My husband took it to Auto Zone on Sunday just for diagnostics. They said it was the thermostat. It still needed Pa inspection done as it was registered in Jersey so my husband called Brad Smith on Monday am to see if/when he could take it. We dropped it off Tuesday evening for Wednesday service. It ended up being just the sensor and being a much cheaper repair than we thought plus inspection. We just picked it up and it's running perfect, and Brad was super nice! He got us in and done fast, was a pleasure to do business with, and didn't rip us off! We haven't used a private mechanic in a long time, just been using the dealers, but we now have a reliable mechanic will definitely be using and recommending him to everyone!!”

“I have been going here for car repairs for several years and realized I had never reviewed it. Given how important online ratings can be to a business, I figured it was only fair to the Qyst folks that I shared my experiences.I have several cars, from a 1967 through a 2016, and have had most of them here for various repairs or for tires. They can do newer high-tech cars relying on scanner codes and they can do old cars where all the diagnostics are done with the mechanic's eyes and skills. No matter the car, I have been satisfied EVERY time I've visited. Their tire prices are a little higher than the discount places, but not much. I'm happy to spend a few extra dollars for the knowledge that the installation will be trouble free. Appointment wait time is almost always within a week. They are friendly and communicate well throughout the process. If you don't need something, they won't try to sell it.I am thoroughly satisfied with Qyst and will be returning soon I'm sure!Hopefully not TOO soon;-)”

Some background: I needed a quick tire patch at a reasonable price, I drive a luxury car after not owning a car for 10+ years, and I was getting over the stomach flu. So when this clueless girl rolled up in a Lexus, not knowing what a wheel lock is or where to find it, and generally looking kind of confused and uncertain…well, a LOT of big automotive chains would have taken one look and invented things to charge me for or told me I needed expensive add-ons. NOT Floyd & Diann’s! The gentlemen here were quick to help, patient with me and efficient in patching and filling my tire and getting me on my way (for a reasonable price indeed!)You can just TELL this is a shop run on loyal customers, plenty of elbow grease, and a trustworthy presence in the neighborhood. It was an excellent decision because I was treated kindly, fairly, and communicated with about all decisions. They were able to take my car in and turn it back over to me extremely fast. “My first visit ! My car was diagnosed and I realized the repair wasn’t covered by my warranty. I was undecided how to proceed. So I agreed to continue with the repair. Then I called back and said - don’t repair. I called back again and gave the go ahead to repair. Thru the entire process ( and I was a pain) the staff was pleasant and very understanding. My car was repaired by AMF and it rides beautifully. They even added in a few extra free services for which I am thankful.
