“Super friendly staff, great selection, community oriented, im proud to support!
Just walk down the path.
We bough cat and panda stickers, a small panda toy, color and then fold origami paper, colorful painting glow in the dark make your own bracelet kit. All for a birthday gift. Fairly affordable.”
“been going here quite a lot over the years, has a great community and staff, the prices are a bit high for miniatures but that's to be expected. i do wish they had a better paint selection and slightly lower prices. beyond that the place is great.”
“I came up from Philly and was happily surprised at the selection of N-Scale items as most smaller model train stores only cater to O and HO Scale models. The staff was nice, friendly and eager to help.Prices are reasonable and not overly expensive.I will, definitely be coming back to buy more stuff from them.”
“Doug and his staff are top notch! Doug is working to expand into scale modeling as well, and the weathering and airbrush seminars he has held were great! His selection of Tank and aircraft models is getting impressive as well! There arent many 'local' hobby shops around anymore, and Joe's is working to fill that spot in the Hatboro/Warminster area!”
“Awesome place. Bought my first gold coin from them today. I had a million questions, and they answered every one of them with kindness & honesty. I greatly appreciate you guys!”
“My favorite place to go for a box of unopened baseball cards. Heidi is so nice and knowledgeable when it comes to what are the best boxes to get. Highly recommend visiting Sportscard Playground, you will not be disappointed.”
“This is a pretty good place and I expect more people to come within the next couple years. Definitely more card-game oriented than anything else, but there's a basement for us dwellers to call home away from home! Come in out of curiosity, stay for the for the amity, and leave with the knowledge of a newfound spot for your nerdy needs!”
“Just met Ken and one of his sons. My almost 10 year old and I walked into his shop with some stamp questions. I just wish every shopkeeper was as friendly and authentic.
Highly recommend.”
“I'm actually not much of a board game player or TTRPGer myself but I still love this place. I pick up a new game and/or shiny trinket every now and then but even when I'm not in the market for anything, there's always enough interesting stuff to keep me busy window-shopping while my friends do the real shopping. The atmosphere over at 7th Dimension is great. The people there are friendly and despite my social anxiety's best efforts, I don't get that "You don't belong here. Why are you here?" feeling that I tend to get in most gaming stores.”
“Very nice store.. not large store. Very knowledgeable about products. Had decent pricing wasn't trying to hurt my wallet. Actually showed me different options that cost less. Explained the pros and cons of them. If he doesn't have the item you need he will order for you. Will definitely be back. Support small businesses”
“Who doesn't love Michael's? But isn't it time we start selling local artists' products?
Large parking lot with handicapped entrance and spacious check out counter.”
“As places to find hobby supplies in-person and right now continue to disappear, Michael's remains and becomes more and more a cover-all for various stores that are gone to us.”
“Large store with most of what we were looking for. Only gripe about this place is how difficult it is to find somebody to help. Also, the columns to hold the ceiling up are in the middle of some aisle entries making it difficult to navigate at times.”
“We love Michael's for their arts and crafts supplies, but we especially like their Custom Framing services. We have used them for both our kids diplomas and have been very pleased each time!”
“Great place, was there for a Phillies autograph Tanner Banks. Tanner couldn't have been nicer. The owner was great. friendly. had great products at the store. And very competitive price too. Have to make many returns to this shop... it's wonderful!!!”
“Horrible. I really hate this store. There are NEVER enough cashiers working. It takes another cashier almost 15 minutes to come assist ,meanwhile the line is getting longer and longer. I will never return to the one on City Ave.”
“I love Michael’s! The store is well stocked and organized and their staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. My latest experience was especially successful with the help of Angie P. in framing. She went above and beyond to make sure that my picture was ready when I needed it even staying late to be certain that it was compli and done perfectly! If you have a picture that needs framing Michael’s is the place to go. And ask for Angi ! She’s the best!”
“Good experience today. I had an unexpected experience about a week ago. Placed an order at my nearby location, and it was sent to another location. I was told this happens sometimes when the store does not have all of your items.Other than this, my experiences are always good.”
“I came in less than 48 hours before Mother’s Day and asked to have a fairly large piece of artwork framed as a gift for my mom. Despite being incredibly busy Stephanie took the time to help me through the process of choosing a frame, matting colors etc. I’m admittedly clueless so I deferred to her suggestions and I’m so glad that I did. She got it done with time to spare and it was gorgeous. When I gave it to my mom she cried. And I do NOT have a mom that cries, lol. I’m so beyond happy with how it turned out and I will definitely be back with more business.”
“The owner, Rob Clark, is incredibly knowledgeable about coins and jewelry. He has infinite patience with repairs I ask him to carry out. No job seems to be too small or too large. I definitely recommend.”
