“We’ve been getting our kielbasa here since we were little kids. My mother and grandparents and aunts all grew up in the area and for any family function, holiday and New Year’s Eve we would always go here to get the smoked kielbasa to make kielbasa and sauerkraut. And I raised my kids on the same dishes. Especially making and getting their kielbasa from Swiacki Meats. Haven’t hat much time in between Christmas and now because I’ve been laid up going through cancer treatments between not feeling well and treatments and Dr appointments on Monday, sleeping all day yesterday, I will be making it to the shop today to get my kielbasa and sauerkraut, so I can make my Kielbasa, Sauerkraut, Pork and Potatoes. I can’t wait to eat that stuff tomorrow. Yumm Yumm Yummy. I will add some pictures as the cooking process progresses. ❤️❤️❤️”
“I absolutely love Klein’s!!! The best neighborhood grocery store you could ever ask for. They have everything you need, and the prices are very reasonable! They also carry a good selection of local baked goods, and the produce is always good. Very grateful for this gem!”
“grocery store meat quality is rapidly declining. kevin is a gift to this city. his products are always A++, and he'll deliver them to you no matter where you are.”
“The staff here is so sweet and their deals are AMAZING. So many fresh meats (they have vegetable too)! Also, this is probably the cleanest butcher I've ever visited.
I'll be back soon!!”
“This is such a great place with kind employees. Besides selling pretty much everything you need in your household, they just seem to care about their neighbors. Have stopped by so many times, always made me feel welcome. Being respectful to others doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you.”
“I live in Drexel Hill went on Friday morning around 11 they were waiting on # 55 I was # 63 store was very clean very good customer service NICE selection of meats vegetables and grocery items . “I ate a meatball hoagie from here in like 2011 that I still think about. I have never before or since found one that slapped that hard - could not believe those out-of-the-warming-pot meatballs and fresh sliced prov could make that magic but it did. Also tried my friend’s sandwich which was the Italian (as advertised, a true classic - hard to find them like that anywhere but the old delis now) but I was so lost in the sauce of the meatballs that it didn’t matter. Also, the guy behind the counter? So helpful, so kind, so clearly proud of the place and the product.”
“This place has the best hoagies around. A lot of meat and great taste. I buy a hoagie from here every weekend for lunch sometimes dinner. When I have visitors over I tell them to try this place.”
“Just went in and the people are really friendly including the butcher! The quality of the meats were excellent and the price were fair and better then going to most markets. Highly recommend them. One of the better Spanish markets I've seen around the area for sure”
“Stopped in here for the first time to get steaks for father’s day. Maggie P. was so helpful, and the staff were all kind which made for a good experience. She made sure I was aware of all the specials and deals before I decided on my purchase. I will be back!”
“This family-owned business is family-friendly and offers tasty hoagies and sandwiches packed with extra meat and fresh ingredients that you can make another one at affordable prices. The staff provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making each customer feel valued.”
“Been getting meat from here for the past several years. Best quality meat! They prepare it and cut it the way we want without any issues. Staff is always helpful and welcoming. I love their variety of candies from overseas too!”

“I have been shopping at Wild Fork for about two years and I love their products. The Willow Grove store closed but I have been to the Horsham location once. Whenever I am in the area I must go there. The people there are always friendly and helpful. I have ordered stuff online and had it delivered too. Absolutely no complaints.”
“To all the pearl-clutching complainers whining about "grumpy employees" and "lack of customer service" at Petrovsky Market—what exactly were you expecting? A Disneyland experience? This is a real Russian supermarket, not some sanitized corporate chain where cashiers are forced to smile like soulless robots. You want fake cheerfulness? Wegmans is that way.
Petrovsky Market delivers something much rarer, authenticity. The scowling grandmas at the buffet counter? That’s tradition. They’re not there to coddle your woke snowflake feelings—they’re there to serve up herring and haladetz with the same no-nonsense attitude that generations before them have perfected. If they glare at you, consider it a rite of passage.
The kitchen might not be pristine, the food might be past the western world's obsessive expiration date paranoia, and the cashiers might not say "hello", but that’s exactly why Petrovsky Market feels like stepping into a real Russian bazaar. The cold cuts are phenomenal, the pastries taste like your Soviet grandma made them, and the selection of Eastern European goods is unmatched.
Even I bought an expired full ham and experienced nonstop digestive issues for days, but you don’t see me complaining. That’s just part of the experience.
If you’re looking for an authentic Russian experience, this is it. If you need customer service with a side of emotional support, go find a Whole Foods. Long live Petrovsky Market!”
“This is one of the best South Indian supermarket in Philadelphia. They have every Kerala items here. The best thing is availability of fresh fish and meet at Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. They cut it clean according to our choice. They have frozen and all Kerala items from snacks to spices. I really love their customer service. Even we can call and order and later collect the items. Really go for this supermarket, who miss india”

“To be honest, I'm a newer driver and after reading the reviews I was already having an anxiety attack. I obviously got lost and was panicked and stressed. I called and the front desk lady (I think Tracy) was WONDERFUL!! Calmed me down and talked me thru the streets and got me there. They don't have you back in, you pull over on the street and they back a truck up to you and transfer product there. WONDERFUL people!! I'd come here anytime. No overnight parking, and im not sure what is near.”
“Clean and bright. Plenty of protein options, and spices for cultural cooking but, most importantly, the service is friendly and genuinely appreciative for your business.”
“Your place for meat package specials to accommodate any size family large or small. Also check out their seafood department. Great seafood platters for the seafood lover in you. Convenient location. Just 1-2 mins. away public transportation stop. 31 and the 52 bus or the septa el all stop at 52nd & Market. Jump off public......... pickup food...........shop........ back on public......easy to do......”
“I'm giving Ed Hipp's 4 stars for nostalgia sake. For 5 years I have searched for the beef breakfast sausage links (blue package) until one day I called the company just to be told they were discontinued 5 years prior. Needless to say was very disappointed. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars.. Overall their products are great.”
“I hadn't been there in awhile and was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked and clean it was. The staff I encountered were pleasant, professional and helpful. I will go back again soon.”
“I love this place! They are the best of the best if I could give them 10 stars I would.very courteous and friendly if you buy from Kissin you will NEVER buy supermarket meat again thanks for being so great Bill”

“We're very lucky to still have a place like Joe's in our community. I go out of my way to support them because they do an amazing job: exceptional meat quality, fair prices, friendly service, community-minded, extremely accommodating -- they will go out of their way to fulfill your order and get you what you need in a timely manner! Given our economic climate, it makes me feel very good patronizing a business that helps keep the local economy in the hands of local people. Buy your meat at Joe's!”
