“Has a great selection! Sells kegs, cases, six packs, and singles including some packaged cocktails and adult slushies. The owner is friendly and gets to know the tastes of regulars and will take care of you.”
“Best beer distributor I have ever visited. No question, hands down. The selection is extensive. Very large cooler and no up charge for cold beer like other places. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If they don't have something in stock but can order it, just ask and they will. This is the place I use as a measuring stick when visiting other distributors.”
“I was looking for a certain bottle, which of course the didnt have in stock. The employees went above and beyond to find one and have it shipped to their store.”
“If you want beer or vapes, they've got plenty of both.
I vape the rechargable pods. So many times I go into a vape store to get just the pod, because I have plenty of batteries, and they're always out. Middletown beverage always has pods in stock. They're never out. They have a huge selection also.
???”
“I had a great experience here picking out cigars. I was traveling and without my cutters and torch. They provided matches and gifted me a cutter. If you buy five cigars you get a sixth free.”
“Great People. Replaced a broken bottle. A+++. On my way home a little kid ran across the street near the Turkey Hill, and I had to hit the brakes so hard my Vodka Bottle broke. They helped me out by replacing the bottle the next day, thankfully I had my receipt. Thanks to the help of the super friendly and helpful staff, It's a Wholesome place to shop. The Balance is restored!”
“Excellent affectionate customer service combined with a great collection of beers. I had stopped by at this store on one of my long trips; Kartik’s service and knowledge about beers is impressive; must admit, I had walked out being a very happy customer.”
“I liked how kind and helpful the staff were here. There’s so much to choose from that it made my choice difficult. They helped me choose and it was delicious!!”
“I got everything I wanted and some I got on sale. My bar is full now. Wish I would have gotten that Ciroc sale but I missed it. I hope I catch that sale next time.”
“Thank you Millie, for your recommendation everyone loved the drink , and for your customer service you should be a trainer on how to treat customers. Thanks again we will be back.”
“Aside from "Billy" if you have the unfortunate chance of running into him this place is amazing!! Billy likes to take his sweet old time doing EVERYTHING.. Every single move is the slowest most calculated move a person could make.. Unfortunate because aside from him the place is welcoming and friendly and helpful!”
“Outdated store but what do you expect in a little shopping center, but the store has nothing but one of the best friendly staff. They always say hello to you upon walking in. Asks if you need help or what to recommend. Always stocking the shelves.”
“Never had a bad experience here … inventory is good for a small shop, you can shop in the moment or order online for pickup, store is clean, well-organized & even has security & most importantly the staff is amazing: helpful, engaging, experienced & really nice people. We’re very lucky to have this gem in midtown.”
“Place has an awesome selection, prices, and the cold beer is cold enough to drink right out of the case every time. Go in and have a conversation with Rick, he's a great guy running a great business.”
“Nice people they greet you they take time to talk to you.. what more does one need . Get your beer ? the prices are competitive to other beer joints. Shit your self medicating anyway.. lol”
“This wine and liquor store carries some of the best wines in the area. There are some local wines from the PA area and many others from around the country and the world. I found my favorite CA Chardonnay (Rombauer) and an excellent vintage of a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (2012). Ample parking. Easy to find. This is a terrific spot to pick up your favorite adult beverage.”
“Food was like the old days! I'm so glad Tim is back in control! I walked away a year ago, so I'm dissatisfied and disappointed, but today, my green pepper cheesesteak was amazing! The wings were perfect! The pizza box fries were on point! No leftovers! Thank you!”
“Been knowing these guys for decades!!! Before all these MILLENNIALS!!!! They were under another name on 29th Street .... Old Schoolers know this... Anyway, A Great organization ...... My late father supported this place .. Now this legacy was passed on to me!!!!!! About the one person's negative comments!???? He's paranoid!!!! It's along a non neighborhood!!!! There's no crime in this area so you can shop at night........ Thanks✌️?.”
“I've been met with such kindness every time I come to the store- people offering to help, even carry my purchase to the car, asking about the kids, they are all so nice.”
“Stopped on 7-15-24 (in from out of town) around 530pm and the lady behind the counter was extremely nice and walked down isle with me helping me look for Chocolate beer and answered all my questions, sorry I didn't get your name, great customer service”
“My brother and I love golden brew...sandy and the crew are always friendly and helpful when looking for something new to try out...if your in the area give them a try.”
