BUT one time we came around the back to get a piece of furniture we bought & my boyfriend rang the bell a few times unsure if they heard us and we could not hear the bell as it was pouring rain. a woman opened the door with the biggest attitude and talked to my boyfriend like a child.”

“A pretty decent Goodwill, all things considered. Just wish they gave you shopping bags for your purchases. Sure, they SELL some....but they aren't the biggest bags in the world, so if you buy a lot, either bring your own plastic bags or buy a bunch of theirs.”
“I won't go into details about how our oven rack got donated. It just did. And it didn't dawn on me until making Sunday morning Swedish pancakes the next day. My hubby wanted to go and get it back from the Burhans store. I knew better- for sure it was fine into the distribution system already. But I'm always ready for a car ride and we showed up at Burhans right after they opened. But yesterday's truck was already gone to the Penn Ave center. So we drove out there. The young man who answered our knock on the "employees only" door was very friendly and directed us to the front entrance. The manager explained about the trucks being unloaded and things might be gone already. But she took our contact information anyway. A couple hours later she called! They had it! We offered a few bucks to pay for our "donation" but she didn't take it. super nice people to deal with. And I'm super happy we didn't have to find a new oven rack.”

“Enjoyed shopping this goodwill. We’re from chambersburg and that goodwill doesn’t have as good of a selection for home/furniture and kids clothing/toys. This one however had all that and more. Great selection and the staff seem to enjoy their work and each other. They definitely brought the vibe up! Fun shopping experience!”
