Ordered a package in early June. Greencastle, PA received it with some sort of "acceptance" process. Now it's early July and my package is still pending in the "acceptance" process and no one is being forth coming on what's going on, why it's taking so long or even when I'll finally be getting my package. I only give 3 stars today because they've been reliable when it comes to handling my packages but no package should take a month to deliver.
USPS: YOU NEED TO DO BETTER.

I remember when the lines came out the door until they upped their price. They also try to scam you into paying the most and with adding services they come included. 100 dollar insurance comes with the Ground option.

Very disappointed in service received today. I drove from my home to retrieve a small package that had arrived at the post office after mid day. It was already a few days late and I didn't want to wait till the next day. Thepostal employee in the office declined to do the simple task of retrieving my package and handing it to me. Same simple request had been handled cheerfully a few times in the past but today was considered too much trouble. Didn't even give it a minute to look after I drove to town. I'm kind of shocked.

The actual post office location in Greencastle has helpful staff if you need to drop off a package or buy stamps, etc. As other people have mentioned there have been some issues with mail/package delivery but that seems to be more of an institutional problem

Several years ago I had the worst experience at the Greencastle office, after having some others that were not the best. This time the lady mentioned and another gentlemen had me in tears when I was asking for help to mail a package overseas; so rude. I can't believe they are still there. Ever since then I drive to the Shady Grove office where Teresa is a gem and always willing to offer any help needed.

Super friendly and personable gentleman working the other day, my only time ever stopping at this location. He made a very memorable and positive impression and I wish more people had a similar attitude ?
