“Very skilled and experienced craftsman. Listens to the customer, adds information when needed, and does a high quality job that conforms to the customers wishes. He restocked a pre-64 Model 70 Winchester for me using a high grade fancy walnut stock I had purchased. The fit and oil finish are perfect and beautiful. When I asked if he could add acorns and oak leaves to the checkering pattern he thought a bit, said ‘yes, Winchester once had something like that on one of their stocks’ and pulled one out of a bin of old stocks for me to look at. He then hand-checkered my stock in a pattern reminiscent of the old factory stock, except much more beautiful.”

“I purchased a revolver and ammo to go with it. Both hollow points and FMJ. It wasn't until I got home that I realized the associate stocking the shelves gave me the wrong caliber hollow points. I called Cabelas immediately about the problem and they said I could exchange them. I did just that the next day. They were friendly and helpful. I gave 4 stars because of that. I had to take the extra trip of half an hour drive each way.”
“I stopped in after having taken my mother's car in for some warranty work at outten kia. And after 10 years in the military, being stationed all over, and seeing various "army navy surplus type stores" I can say that without reservation this store is the best I've ever ever been in. No bs I'm not paid, I don't know the owners etc... But after visiting on a whim I walked out with a pair of new boots because there was one pair of size 10's in their pile of $5 boots. I was also able to grab a new set of knee pads for work (shut up), a roll of 550 cord and 1150 cord, some trauma kits for my shop because you never know, and all for under $50. And then on my way out they had two shopping carts full of random stuff from humvee windows (I think) to random electronics etc... So I grabbed a 12 Volt inline fluid transfer pump, and the controller for a bomb bot lol. The controller has some heavy duty switches and wiring I can use in the cars I build. And the guys working there were more than happy to listen to me prattle on about random dumb sh!t as I'm afflicted with motor mouth syndrome. And before I left they let me know they'd be getting some FRT trigger sets in if I was interested, and interested I am and am going back tomorrow to get one. But honestly if you like or need anything milsurp new or pre owned and youre in Ne Pennsylvania then stop in and see this place it's awesome. If youre currently in the military they have the 100% cotton uniforms in multicam and MarPat not sure what the navy's sporting these days hopefully they ditched the aquaflage lol.”
