Very poor customer service, I'm a very dissatisfied with the lack of communication. I already prepaid $595, money came out of my account already and this black lady proceeds to tell me I need to pay $250 for a security deposit with a major credit card, I'm 22 years old and rented before and never had to pay a security deposit at any other rental locations. I will NEVER be coming back to the Harrisburg location ever. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL PLACE TO ANYONE NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY trust me

The customer service was on point, great communication. Extremly helpful counter representatives. The price was amazing for what I needed. I will continue to use Budget on Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA Thank you.

Vehicle and people very good. Only complaint is "new car smell" of vehicle. It was so strong it made me cough constantly and I had to drive with the windows wide open. I mentioned this to the person when I returned the vehicle. Company should make available vehicles without that treatment.

I wish I could say I had a better experience at this rental location but unfortunately to say it was disappointing. The branch manager was extremely rude, condescending and only wanted to serve the male customers that arrived. As the manager of this location you set the tone and tempo for his this business operated. DO BETTER!!

This place is a SCAM ! Stay away they are unorganized , unprofessional and charge like crazy. They will leave your car and truck anywhere and not have it ready. Especially if you're planning on renting a moving truck they will not have it for you and still want your money

It was easy to reserve a car ahead of time for pick up when I needed it. I liked the car provided me. It was clean and looked good. The car handled well. That is important since, I drive state to state visiting family on the East Coast. I am very satisfied with my Budget rental car experience.

I rented a car on Saturday, July 22nd at 12:00 p.m. My husband and I arrived at 12:00 p.m. and the doors were locked! An employee was standing outside the office and screamed, "We're closed!" When we tried to explain that we had a 12:00 p.m. reservation for a vehicle (that we received multiple email confirmations asking for us to come at 12:00 p.m.), he responded very rudely, "Do you want me to show you the sign on the door that says CLOSED?" We could not even talk to him because he was screaming in our faces to get back into our Uber. He was very scary and unhinged. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. When we called on Monday to speak to a manager, the manager said there was nothing he could do! We then called the Budget Corporate Office who confirmed that based on their timecard records, the employee clocked out early Saturday and issued a full refund for our vehicle. DO NOT book a car here! You may arrive and find out that their rude and incompetent employees wanted to go home early and be without a vehicle.

Do not rent from this place. They will nickel and dime you (or try and charge you $400 for having hair) pictures below are how we tried to return the car and were told we would be charged $400 because of the hair. They rent you are car the is mostly clean and covet a brand new car in return.On top of this, when we put in the reservation, we put 10am pick up and 5:00pm return. There was no indication this was not ok. We we picked up we were told we would be charged an extra day because we would return it a couple hours later then the 24 hour mark. Terrible interactions with the staff. Not worth the initial price as that is not what you will end up paying. They advertise low prices but charge all kinds of fees to be more expansive than other places. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I’m accustomed to Budget being quick and efficient — but I’ve never used this location before. I was in a hurry and expected I would be able to just leave the car (considering all I had to do to pick it up at an airport was take a photo of the license plate and everything else was digital). Instead, it was a very manual process with a rude employee. After letting him know I was in a hurry, he condescendingly shamed me for not having the gas filled up — even though it was a conscious decision. I was forced by circumstances to use this location, but I will definitely not use it if I have any other option in the future.

Rented a car in July. I was charged $500 for a cleaning fee because they said I smoked in the car. I DID NOT! Said they found a ash on the carpet. Kiwana Byrd sent me a picture of one little ash. But said that because they "found" it I would be charged. Stay far away from this place. It's NOT a Budget rental, it is a franchise. I give it an -1 star

Highly recommend and will definitely use again. The only issue I had was when dropping the vehicle off there was a man that (I think he cleans the vehicles) walked up to my husband and was very rude asking why were we there? We chose not to entertain the negativity at 7:30am & after a wonderful vacation but someone should talk to him about that!!!

Its a classic "Bait and Switch". They lure you in with the low prices and get you with the forced extra charges. I was threatened to be put on a national NO RENT list for simply and professionally disputing the extra charges. Basically telling you, pay us or we will ban you from all of our affiliate businesses.The cold and unprofessional customer service is just the icing on the cake. They go out of their way to make you feel un important.

The vehicle, a Jeep Wagoneer, was outstanding. The only comment that was negative was the staff at Budget, Jonestown Rd., Harrisburg,PA. They were short with customers and they could have more pleasant.
