Hours: Paxton Ministries is a jewel for people that need extra care in the Harrisburg area. This well kept personal care home has a welcoming reception and a beautiful facility with a nice kitchen. The friendly, Christ loving staff are top notch, competent, and definitely care about their residents. Residents enjoy great food, great activities, and fun outings. There is a strong sense of family here. Whether volunteering for the day or visiting regularly, the experience with staff and residents is wonderful. The main entrance is from the courtyard behind the building. As a former resident noted, residents can rest assured they will be safe and loved, with their needs met in every which way. It is the best personal care home in the whole state of Pennsylvania.
