“Great place to socialize and enjoy trivia. Food and beverages are good and reasonably priced. Very supportive of veterans and their families. Always plenty of parking.”
“Between me and my mother-in-law we donated canned cat food. And meat only baby food for the kittens. This is a no-kill shelter which I like. My son said he wants to come back when we need a new animal and adopt.”
“Place I went to all year but fall and winter after school for basketball! Today they have more programs I found out music programs and girls also. A good place to volunteer die a musician as well as an athlete.”
“I lost my mind in this store! My favorite thrift store of all time. As a plus size woman, was able to find my size and many MANY selections of everything! I bought, intimate wear, sports bras, skirts, leggings, shirts, tanks I’m telling you I restocked my wardrobe! Old wardrobe was in desperate need of recycling and or trash.”

“I had a wonderful experience taking the Penn State Extension gardening class recently. The Salvation Army of HBG was a wonderful host for this class. The staff was courteous & the environment was clean & on point. Will consider taking other classes they offer at this site.”
“I've always loved the Camp Curtain YMCA.Since I was a kid. It was here that I first learned how to swim after almost drowning in the Hershey Park Swimming Pool. From their I saved myself from a kayak flipping over in the Susquehanna River during a Camping trip with Camp Hebron. Years later at Ocean City Maryland. The tide took me a mile away from shore. Instead of panicking. I floated on my back until the tide. Pushed me back in. A couple of times I helped rescue others. Then I joined the Navy. And swam where it counted. Along the way I worked out at different YMCA's. But theirs no place like home in my own neighborhood, and I'm glad to be back. A part of my life. I've always enjoyed. Working out at the Camp Curtain YMCA . Khaldun Rasheed”

“Two guys and a truck showed up at my house today, early mind you, loaded the truck professionally and were finished in about 20 minutes. So much better than other charities and so much easier to schedule. FYI: They do pickups twice a month in 17055. Will be calling them again in a couple of months!”
“I love the political club I feel it's very entertaining for me I'm respect everybody in there and I get their respect back and I enjoy myself I feel that I have a room full of beautiful friend that have known for a long time . And new ones that I am beginning to know and love I enjoy myself immensely there is diverse and I do not mind that because you know what the whole world is diverse and I love everyone that I've met so far in there.”
“This is a great gym the recent renovation is really nice, though a lot of the equipment is still pretty old. Love the views of the river. Hate having to walking through a basketball game everytime I want to go to the gym, they really gotta do something about that.”
“I am a member and access Silver Sneakers here along with other classes for Seniors and people with health issues like arthritis. The staff is great from the Front Desk to the the instructors. So far everyone I've interacted with is kind, helpful and really encouraging. Honestly, when my Spouse wanted to join there I didn't expect much and an surprised at how much I enjoy going there.”
“Great Y in the area. We frequent the Camp hill location but tried the Harrisburg one for swimming. It was a great experience. The building is a maze and wonderfully maintained. The pool itself was nice and warm the changing room was neat and clean. Chlorine levels were nice and didn't hurt the eyes. Great staff and patrons alike.If you are an OSP member your parking is free otherwise 1$. Will be back.”
“I have been to numerous Goodwill Outlets/bins in various states and this one is the most organized and calm store I have been too! Rules are enforced and the workers run a tight ship!”

She has been nothing but professional and thorough in making this very easy for us. August 2024 we had our Class Reunion there.
