I'm trying to be fair right now because I've been going to the Sally beauty for almost a year with no problems. But today there was a big problem. I asked one of the employees yesterday for a little assistance with picking the right type of bleach. She initially had given me one type, and then changed her mind after I told her brassiness was a problem and asked her where the purple shampoo was. She redirected me to a different product. I was in a rush and I didn't even look at it. Today I go to start bleaching my hair and I start to read the directions to make sure it's the 1:1 ratio, and see on the directions that you are not supposed to use that with anything higher than 20 volume. She sold me 30. And before anyone says that she might not have paid attention to the fact that I was buying 30 developer, she even asked me what level developer I was using. When I said 30 she questioned me as to why I needed that. And I explained to her that my hair is extremely hard to lift the color out of. She didn't question me as to whether or not I was using a color stripping bleach, and I corrected her telling her that I was not looking to change my hair which is already blue; I never read bleach hair that I've already bleached. I was just trying to take care of 6 months worth of roots. And now I realize that there's always a risk in bleaching your own hair and stuff at home. But people do go into those stores expecting that if an employee directs them to a product they understand how that product works. And if she had no knowledge of this, despite her coworker telling me today when I made the return that she actually works in a salon, then she should have let me know that she was not qualified to give that kind of advice. Which I would have said okay cool no problem and called a friend.Someone who didn't know any better could have seriously burned themselves. They could have ended up bald. To find out that this woman who did this works in a salon as a professional is absolutely wild to me.

Walked in to a store with no customers. Zero greeting. Two other sets of customers walked in after me completely different greeting & demeanor from the employees. Was never asked if I needed help & when checking out it’s almost as if my entire presence inside the store was unwelcome, even though this was the first time I’ve been inside it. Sorry you’ve been treated as badly as you have been, that you think it’s necessary to take unprocessed hatred out on the people around you.

Shelves were kind of bare in some spots, but the employee was knowledgeable and was able to help us find substitutes.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I ordered online to pick up my hair color at the store since no stores in my area had what I needed. I was unable to pick up my order so my 18 year old son drove an hour one way to pick up the order since I was working. The email confirmation states that as long as you have the email confirmation anyone can pick up the order even if it's not the person who's name is on the order. My son gets there and an employee named Rachel comes up to the counter and says nothing just stares at him. He finally says Hi I am here to pick up an order. Rachel responds with are you "Laura" (name on order)? Of course Rachel can see he is not a female. He tells her no that's my mom and I am here to pick it up, I have the confirmation email. Rachel tells him she can only give the order to the person who's name is on the order and that I'll have to come in with my ID. He calls me and I call into the store. The young lady answers and it's Rachel so I start to tell her who I am and before I can say anything about what the email says she gets an attitude saying it's store policy and her manager told her that she can't give orders to anyone but the person who's name is on the order. I ask to speak to the manager and am told she doesn't work on the weekends. I have worked all my life in retail and never have I seen no manager on weekends. I let her know I will be calling in tomorrow to speak with the manager and she says I don't care because it's our stores policy. I say good bye and call my son. He did show Rachel the email where it states anyone can pick up the order as long as they have that email. She tells him well your mom wants me to return the items so I can't help you. WHAT?!?! I never said to return anything. I called corporate and they said Rachel should have given him your order and that they would call in and let the manager know that they have to release the order to whoever has the confirmation email. Well the store is closed now so we have to wait until tomorrow and drive another hour one way to get my items. I will never again buy from this location. There was no reason that Rachel couldn't call the manager who should be on call and confirm the policy. I will be still be calling in tomorrow and speaking with the manager before going in. I am disgusted with how we were treated. I have never been treated this way in any store. I think I will be calling corporate again tomorrow to make sure they spoke to the manager as well. Rachel should find a job where she isn't working with people. She lacks customer service skills and Sally's should be embarrassed by her behavior and not allow people like her to work in there stores.

I call this shop to talk to who I guess was the manager of this shop, in regards to geeting a job here. I found this job on Indeed and it was under the stay at home/remote job section of the Indeed site. The job posting was labeld temp. remote position/job. I thought that it was legit and you could do behind the sences stuff from home. 1 star i wish that I could give no stars on this place, the woman I talked to Jalena Jenkins about this job was so nasty and rude. I was almost shaking after our phone call she has a awful personality and was like you have to come in person for a interview. I told her Iive in MA. She did not even know where that was on the map. She hounded my Indeed messages and left many phone messages. She knew that this was a in person job, I told her you or Indeed labeled the job post as temp. remote and not in person. It is very misleading. I am not a "Karen" but I will call corporate on this company and this lady Jalena Jenkins. So unprofessinal and showed no empathy in this trying times. It is a pandemic and people need and want jobs/money. I could also tell that she was not wearing a mask when talking on the phone. I understand that every state is different with rules. But the board of health or somebody should look into this place/lady. I do not think that this lady Jalena Jenkins should have her job this place should be shut down. I was going to work remote/from home for them if I got this job, then when things got better and you had to go in person I was going to opt. out, but I am so happy that this was a in person job and would not grace the doors of this awful place. Avoid this place and do not talk to Jalena Jenkins as she is a awful person with no empathy you people really have to screen this people before having them go to work for you. She was almost swearing and yelling at me when I "got the info. wrong" which I did not. Learn to post a job listing correct or don't even mind it. A shitshow of a place and a igornant woman to deal with thanks for not giving me this job as I dodged a bullet, the money would not be worth it caio.

If I could rate zero stars I would. I have been in twice within the last 6 months. Both times the lady that rang me out was completely horrible. Tall black, heavy set lady that wore glasses with frosted tips in her hair. Both times I did not receive my professional discount and her attitude was despicable and very unprofessional with customers. Quite frank I really hope this rude lady is not the manager and if so I will not return.
