Strites Orchard is a family-owned local business with a welcoming atmosphere and very friendly, helpful staff. It is a great place to visit for picking apples and touring the orchard. Their market offers tons of choices with a good selection of fresh produce, amazing cider, and very good pies and other baked goods. Many find it a nice experience and a definite place to check out, wishing to support the local business. Some customers note a wish for lower prices for families on a budget and for organic or chemical-free produce.

I love Strite’s and purchased a CSA for the first time this summer. I live in Middletown and like to support local. I just wish the produce was organic / chemical-free… that would earn the fifth star for me!
