for context, that’s the kind of basket that usually creeps way higher at bigger stores like Giant Food, Weis Markets, or even Wegmans Food Markets depending on what’s in it. especially with pre-made items and meat in the mix.
what makes it noticeable isn’t just “cheap,” it’s that the produce doesn’t feel like it’s already on a countdown. mushrooms and potatoes actually hold up after you get home, not something you’re rushing to use same day.

“I’m the Union Deposit area today o needed a few groceries. And I saw the store I have never been in . So I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is a very affordable and very clean Hispanic community oriented business. I know this because only Spanish was being spoken over the intercom . And the majority of the food items to be found are geared towards the Hispanic people. So I decided to do a review. Parking is very easy . Although finding the entrance is a bit tricky. I just followed someone. It’s around a corner to the right side . The store was very well laid out . Great lighting . And easy to understand isles . The produce looked great. And easy navigation thrue out the store. I highly recommend the establishment.”

I called them hoping for a miracle, and they had the exact cake I needed. Not only that, but they finished customizing it incredibly fast so I could get to the party on time. “I went in to just grab a water. While there I checked out the turkeys. I grabbed one 1.99 lbs not bad. When I checked out using my bonus card to my surprise the turkey was free!!! Woo-hoo!!!”
“Great local international grocery store! We stopped by for the first time and there were a lot of nice grocery options, and decent prices. The store is laid out well and there's a few parking spots in front. There was a lot of good tea and spices! Overall great place and I recommend it!”
“From the outside you get the impression that this is a store for Spanish food only, but this place has everything. It's like a miniature grocery store. Some prices are higher than grocery stores, but nothing crazy. They accept WIC vouchers, so the cereal is higher than normal. But overall it beats the price of the many corner stores around the area.”

“I used to live in Etown, but moved away several years ago, I recently went into this Weis while I was in the area. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! A manager, named Nina, walked past me and greeted me with a smile and a ‘Good Morning!’. I returned the greeting and off-hand mentioned my long absence. Nina asked how she could help me find anything. I declined the offer, then Nina assured me that if I needed any information or any assistance that I should please ask. During our brief interaction, Nina was completely a friendly, knowledgeable, helpful employee. I MISS THIS STORE!”

“This place is definitely a family owned business. The owners are very nice and care about their customers and the quality of their products. They have a sweet little boy that makes the visit more enjoyable. The lady also sells organic soap products. I've purchased several times. I love the marshmallow soap and the foam scrubs.When I go to visit family this is the only corner store I go to. It's the closest you'll get to NYC. Not to mention they sell The Whole Shabang (chips), Joe's Tea (beverage) and Calypso (beverage).My favorite things to order are philly cheese, tostones with fried cheese and salami. Let's not even talk about the mofongo.. it's the best in the Harrisburg area.I would definitely recommend this place especially if you're in the area.”
