I rented a truck earlier this year- everyone was nice, easy, fast. Just rented a trailer yesterday, and again- awesome and kind. But the gentlemen who helped me tighten my ball hitch and showed me around the trailer was great. Even forgave me being a bit late. This place is great. Highly recommend it. Just be wary while pulling in or out- lots of traffic. Thanks guys!

The location opened a hour and a half late. We didn’t receive any money even though we received our truck an hour late. There is a $50 “reservation guarantee” that I see online for fault faults meet time, place and equipment size. The inside of the truck on the dash and in the cup holders was sticky. We were very displeased and we asked if there would be any sort of compensation and the general manager said no. He also made it seem like it was our fault even though I tried to do the 24/7 ride share and it gave a sever error and didn’t let me retry. Overall experience was terrible will not be using this location again.

Complete lack of customer service. Attempted to call several times and no one would answer the phone. Then they reported my phone number as spam - I assume they have more business than they know what to do with if they treat customers this way.

Deserving of a negative rating. Charged me for extra mileage that I did not drive, among other charges. Don't use this U-Haul location. Bunch of scam artists. If you don't have a choice, cover yourself and take pictures. I learned my lesson dealing with this "business".

This location and manager has been the worst experience I have had. After the original mechanic at this location did an improper install of parts on my car, causing electrical damage. They said they fixed it the second time and when we left the location my blinkers stopped working. After contacting customer service to get this resolved by having a trusted mechanic fix the damage done to my car, the manager never even bothered reaching out to me and discussing anything they just proceeded to say no to the ticket. I found this out by having to call back into customer support and having the agent on the phone apologize to me that a manager would do that. I am contacting the attorney general as well on this location to make sure that the state of Pennsylvania is aware of the risk this location is to all customers. If you are looking for U-Haul services I would advise against this location. You run the risk of damage to your vehicle, to the point you are putting your life at risk.

I needed an appliance hand truck to move a gas range. Michelle and a nice young man (African accent) we’re so nice and helpful. It cost 10 dollars to rent the hand truck what a nice deal. Thanks Uhaul.

I sat on the phone for 24 minutes waiting for the person who put me on hold to pick up the phone again. Not interested in my business and my time I'm not interested in giving them business.

I recently visited U-Haul Havertown and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The customer service was terrible - the staff was unprofessional and didn't seem to care about helping me with my rental needs. On top of that, the physical environment was filthy and unprofessional. I felt like I was walking into a run-down, poorly maintained facility. To make matters worse, I also experienced misrepresentation during my visit. This made me question the honesty of the company and further damaged my trust in their services.Overall, I strongly advise against visiting U-Haul Havertown. The poor customer service and unprofessional environment, coupled with the misrepresentation, make it not worth your time. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. NEGATIVE STARS!

I recently rented from UHaul of Havertown. After driving less than 5 miles, I was charged for 35 miles. And after returning the tank with the agreed upon 1/4 tank I was charged $78 to put 8 gallons of gas in it. When I questioned the charges I was asked if I took pictures to prove what I was saying. My mistake for trusting a business in my own neighborhood I guess. Lesson learned. I will never give them my business again and would caution others to look elsewhere for their truck rental needs. They know they’re wrong and refuse to make it right.

Called at 7pm the night before to let us know our 7am rental truck wouldn't be available. And that there were none within a 100 mile radius. We had movers coming at 9am, so basically they left us unable to move 400 miles away and with little to no time to try to find alternatives.

Went to get a hitch installed on Saturday, and was told I'd have to drop off the car and wait. No problem. Went to Panera with my laptop and waited. Never got a call and after about five hours, I went back to check and was told they didn't have the part in stock. Mind, I'd ordered it a week earlier when I made my appointment, and they plenty of time to make sure they had it. Anyway, they offered to install it in four days and waive labor. No problem. Returned four days later and was told to leave my car and wait. This time I spoke mainly with the three people working inside. Even compared to the dudes outside (one of whom was literally sitting around picking his nose when I pulled up), these folks are not an A Team. The hitch installer wasn't around, and they didn't want to say that, and so they (all three) avoided looking at me or saying anything directly to me. If more or less pretending that the customer isn't really standing in front of you could solve customer service problems, they'd be on top of the world. After giving my keys to someone who acted like he didn't really have a plan for what to do with them (who I learned later was the actual manager), I went to Panera, and spent 45 minutes looking at some of their reviews on Yelp. Started thinking: Maybe a place that didn't even known it was missing a part it had on its schedule to install that day probably shouldn't be allowed to cut into my car or touch Subaru's wiring. I returned to the shop "I'm back!" and they seemed to have forgotten who I was. Maybe failing customers is too routine to stand out. I asked, "Is the hitch install guy here?" "He had another appointment, but he's coming back." "When were you going to tell me that he wasn't even here." The redhead said, "I told him [pointing to another clerk] to tell you, as I was leaving the building." I mention what happened on Saturday. She says that wasn't their fault, that was FedEx's fault. OK. I point out that the nose picker could have verified the part was in stock at any point on Saturday so I at least wasn't kept waiting. "I said I was sorry," she snaps, "do you still want to buy the part?" "Are you offering me a discount" -- new customer service ideas. She doesn't like that because "we already paid the express shipping." OK.Don't waste your time here. I went to a Subaru dealer instead. Cost twice as much. Still worth it.
