“Michele and Manual have lovingly restored an old Victorian home. Michele's breakfast on weekends is fabulous and even her lesser breakfasts during the time she's teaching, are good. They have paid great attention to make certain that their guests are very comfortable. Their attention to lighting , especially in the bathroom where ladies put on their makeup, was unlike anything that I've ever seen before.”

“Let me start by saying that I am not a review kind of person. However, after calling all around trying to find a room to stay in. Leaving messages on every hotels answering machine, i was starting to think finding a room to stay in wasn't even going to be possible.. until around 11:55 pm my phone rings, and I answer. It was (Amy) from Gresham's. Since I was running late she was willing to stay up and wait for me to get there. This young lady was so polite, respectful, and understanding to my situation. I wasn't sure what to expect in a room that was as adorable as this one. Well let me say I was blown away by the cleanliness and the feeling of being at home that I would recommend this hotel to anybody and everybody. Greshams will forever be my hotel when I visit lake wallenpaupack.. and if you want affordable, clean, very cold air conditioning, with just the short walk to the lake look no further. But don't take my word for it check it out for yourself. Thanks again Amy, should be seeing you again soon when traveling through town.”

“Wonderful location with amazing views and good food. The rooms are priced on the high side but it is a great choice if you're in the area for a few days and would like to stay at one location and enjoy a little of the surrounding natural beauty.”

“Re: Restaurant (not hotel) -

This gives a cozy cabin mixed with farm to table kind of vibe. The eating area in the hotel lounge is pretty spacious, with a fireplace and everything, but we opted for take out.

Incredibly easy to phone in an order, really friendly and they called back with the approximate pickup time. Everything compacted in a small bag, but (as you can see from my plated pictures) still doesn't affect the beautiful presentation potential of the entrees.

The filet mignon at medium rare was amazingly tender, and the roasted squash had the perfect autumn char. The pork tenderloin was easy to slice through, and complimented with the apple butter sauce very well. And as a veggie lover, the bountiful accompaniment was my ideal side dish.

We also ordered a French onion soup, which came in three parts (soup, bread, cheese), so we could finish it up with a quick oven toast for that stringy cheese we know and love. Yum!

Simple, seasonal and satisfying.”
