A very unique made ready to order type deal but its all reallllyyyyy goooooood spanish food. Excellent rice and many other dishes of chicken, pork, fish, beef, steak and all kept in a buffet style for serving. Its like fast food a whole different way. Good job guys and may you be blessed in all that you do!!!!

Alta Pizzeria & Pasta House
380 South Poplar Street, HazletonI used to not care for this establishment, but lately, over the past 8 months or so, I've been pleasantly surprised by the food as I personally feel it has improved. It was not good to mediocre, for me, in the past, and I think it's now pretty good to good! Especially now that I just go pick up whatever I order since they get busy and it can honestly take a long time to get to my door, like an hour. Oh, and I only live 1.9 miles away. But that's why I have no problem going to grab it either. It's a 3 or 4 min drive, so... But as far as the food quality has been from Alta, I'd say it's on the rise. I like to order the large or sometimes the XL round pizza with black olives and pepperoni or sausage. But I like to experiment with other items I've never had, or never had from them, and I usually try for a usual item along with a new item (in case I don't care for the new item, at least I won't go hungry all night, LOL). I tried the Sicilian tonight along with the usual large pie with pepperoni and sausage. I won't lie, I have had better from them in the past 8 months, but it was still a good round pie, and the Sicilian was pretty good. Nothing was wrong with it per se, but ordering it with meatball on it, I felt like I was missing the other half of meatball. If you took 2 or 3 meatballs and broke them up on a whole pizza you would have a few small chunks of meatball per slice. See photos. I just prefer at least half of my bites to include a taste of meatball or any topping, for that matter. And I'm not talking about anything extra, which I know I can order extra, LoL. So I would've edged to the 5th star had I got, maybe double what was there. I did really like how thick and fluffy the dough was especially. Taste and sauce/cheese consistency and ratios were on point there as well. To keep it 100, overall it's definitely not a Senapes Bar Sicilian. Of course, that is at the top of the leaderboard (if not above the leaderboard entirely) for Sicilian/Square pizza, to be fair about it. It was good and worth the money, though. I would say the Sicilian here was a good 7 or 8 out of 10 on this day, though...
In conclusion, to sum it all up for tonight's meal, I would say it was another good experience, and I regret nothing! Thx!
