When I was inquiring about the vehicle, he told me that he doesn't have the second copy of keys on hand, but vowed to get them for me from the previous owner. I was hesitant to sign without that second copy of keys, but I felt good about his confidence in getting the keys, so I did it anyways. I told him I probably won't be able to stop by for a few days, but when I did stop by, they most certainly were there! I have to admit, I was pretty surprised. Some salesman would BS into getting the sale, and then come up with an excuse for not getting the keys, but he sure got me those keys. “Couldn't be happier with this experience. Looked at the car for my daughter's 16th birthday via Car Gurus. Sent a message to ask about viewing a 2010 Jeep Sahara with 120k miles (which is nothing for that engine) on Monday evening. Received a response while on the way up to Allentown on Tuesday morning from Southern Chester County. Met Karim, test drove it and loved it. Exactly what my daughter would want, other than new, which wasn't happening. Jeep was in pristine condition for a 2010. Very few cosmetic issues. However, I didn't have time to have a mechanic look it over, which they offered, being over an hour away. It did have a super clean CarFax with extensive repair history for all-things Wranglers are notorious for, which was reassuring.
No pressure at all. Excellent and competitively underpriced for that year, make, model and condition. I have bought dozens of cars over the last 30 years and this was one of the easiest. I pulled the trigger and bought it Tuesday, Uber'd back on Wednesday and took it home. I brought immediately to my mechanic. He was so impressed with the condition. Mentioned all of the things recently replaced (alternator, catalytic converter, belts, suspension components, valves and so on). My mechanic said that the car would rust out before that engine goes. Perfect for a first car and couldn't be more reassured. We've already started making mods with the Jeep, which is half of the fun. My daughter loves her Jeep!
Karim made the experience effortless (other than my 1 1/2 hour Uber, which has nothing to do with him). He even said during the process, there is no perfect used car. He's right. I did my research, know the issues with Wranglers (however this is a great year if you're not looking for power, but rather reliability) and I was extremely satisfied with this experience. I'll be back to get another for my son in a couple of years. Thanks Matt-N-AZ for a great experience.”

My 2007 Jeep (180,000 miles) hasn't run this well for a long time. Ryan was honest and upfront and is a very skilled mechanic. He gave me a run down of my vehicle and saved me from trading it in (as suggested by a different place) - I was not looking forward to another car payment and I LOVE my Jeep. “This is a long over due review and I felt I should share my experience now that I have been driving the car for the last 2 years!!
Two years ago, we were looking for a VW beetle convertible for our daughter and we ended up finding one at Penn American. I stopped by and did a test drive and liked the car (I have never been to this dealer before). Although the car was reasonably priced, Matt dropped the price a bit and we ended up buying the car. The car came with 30-day warranty, which I didn't think too much about it.
However, when I took the car to get the NJ state inspection, it failed! I took the car back to Penn American hoping that they would honor the warranty. That was the time I met Kate for the first time, who immediately told me that they of course would honor the warranty and said she will handle it from there onward, which she did fabulously.
She sent the car to a near by shop and asked them to fix everything so that the car would be very reliable (for our daughter) and pass the inspection. The main issue was the faulty instrument panel which was obsolete. So Kate spent a lot of time trying to locate one anywhere in the US. It took about 3 months to get the instrument panel and to fix all other underlying issues to get the state inspection passed. I truly feel Kate spent more money than what I have paid for the car but they honored their word. Since then we have been driving this car for the last two years without any issues. Penn American would be my first place to go if I ever looking for a used car. Many thanks Kate and Matt for getting us a nice car for our daughter.”
