“Dollar Tree stores are so awesome!! They remind me of the old Woolworth five and tens when I was growing up. This one is located on Bustleton Avenue in the Bells Corner Plaza. You can find just about anything here. Kitchen utensils dishes storage bowls greeting cards cleaning products basic tools clothing decor items snacks frozen foods pantry items and party stuff. They also have their own plastic shopping bags. This Dollar Tree is at Bustleton and Byberry and is well stocked.”

I have seen All Of The Staff There Keep Their Cool And Continue With Kindness under tremendous pressure, long lines with some customers complaining and losing patience, I may have murmured a few complaints myself in the beginning, not now, Now I'm Happy To See Them As I Know They Give Good Vibes And Unbeatable Service♥️Trucks bringing orders, Merchandise needing to be shelved...They Get It Done. 10 Stars?

I did go to a different dollar store recently, I've had issues in this store before but went anyway, just not what I want to Experience, I Want The Best- That Is Why I Will Keep Going Back To This Dollar Tree.

“This is a great discount store that has almost everything for your household needs. But what I really like about it is that they have Asian products for cooking. I like to stir fry and I can get the utensils accessories like steamer baskets for my wok. They have hygiene products all types of kitchen utensils electrical needs tools bathroom stuff clothes toys and occasionally I find something special like pepper spray. Worth a shopping trip.”

“The workers here are very nice and helpful with the exception of one older lady who I've encountered being rude to customers at the register, breathing hard, barely able to stand up straight. The store tries hard to be clean and tidy and, while it may not have many items in stock that other stores do, they do have things I can purchase on the fly. I think the employees deserve better pay for the crowds they deal with being understaffed.”

“Good evening Google Family. This is my first time visiting this location of Dollar tree. I am here to purchase snacks and a few other household items before I view the movie, Wicked: For Good at the Flagship Water Tower Theater at 10:45 am, for the sixth time. We are not allowed to bring in outside food to the movie theater. I refuse to spend more money for snacks that I can purchase at the dollar store. At the movie theater, they want you to pay $5.00 or more for the same bag of chips, same exact size that I can buy at the dollar store. No way! My chips were $1.25 at the dollar store. Eileen was the nice lady employee working here. I found everything that I wanted here with the exception of the gallon Hefty bags and Nacho cheese Doritos. They had spicy ranch and ranch Doritos, but no nacho cheese Doritos. I asked a nice male employee and he said that he would ask and hopefully they will have them another time. I had a good experience here today. Work out, be active and mobile, fit and fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age.”

“I was there to buy 2 birthday cards. I was greeted when I walked in by a BEAUTIFUL woman who's words were soft and caring, it felt sincere. I found my 2 card in minutes as the selection was great and the price even better. $1 per card. Turns out the woman who greeted me was also the cashier( lucky me) she was very kind and polite. “I took my son to this store today to get some birthday balloons and some cake mix to make cupcakes. The staff saw he was wearing his birthday crown from school and made sure to wish him a happy birthday. This made my son light up and he's been smiling all the way home. “I love dollar tree. U can't beat the prices. And now with the expansion of prices there is a greater selection of available items. I've been to a few dollar tree stores in the area and this one is stocked better and have better availability of products. Also most dollar trees have extremely long lines but the majority of the time I go here they keep their lines under control and that is much appreciated! The employees here are usually a little more pleasant than other dollar trees I've been to.”

“I usually go to the Dollar General on Welsh and Bluegrass because everyone there is amazing but I had to stop at this one which I rarely do and every time I do go to the one on krewstown everybody is so rude, but I had to leave a review for RJ is what my receipt said. I thought his name tag said Ron but the receipt says RJ I wanted to thank him for greeting everyone that walked to the register. I’m actually sitting in my car leaving this review 4/25 at 6:41 AM is when my transaction was and his positive energy that he brought to this Dollar General. Amazing young man.”

My purpose for visiting was to pick up some affordable decorations for a party and to stock up on stationery. Previously, every item was priced at one dollar, but now, due to inflation, certain products cost more. Additionally, the store has a strict return policy; they prefer not to accept returns and offer only store credit instead of a refund, even if you have a receipt. “I know we love to share the negative but I recently stopped by Family Dollar and had a surprisingly positive experience worth sharing. The rest of this is solely about the employee. Since it's been years since I've regularly visited the store, I can't honestly say how the store itself is.
When I walked into the store, an associate named Nafis was stocking shelves and immediately greeted me. These days, it’s not always common to be acknowledged when you enter a store, so that simple greeting stood out right away.
Now let’s be real—it’s not Macy’s—but the store was fairly clean and organized. While I shopped, Nafis offered to help if I needed anything and then let me browse without hovering, which I appreciated.
What really caught my attention, though, was how he interacted with every customer who came through the door. Nafis was pleasant with everyone. He greeted people and rang customers up with a genuine smile. That kind of consistent friendliness is something you don’t see every day—especially in a discount store.
Customer service like that deserves recognition. A good employee can make an ordinary shopping trip feel welcoming, and Nafis definitely did that.
