“NPTI is the place for all aspiring personal trainers! Not only does this program come with certifications as a trainer AND nutrition coaching, but there are fabulous instructors who are very knowledgeable, flexible schedules, and multiple hands-on opportunities to learn within a gym setting. I would recommend NPTI to anyone who is ready to kickstart their career. I've never felt so confident in my abilities and felt so much passion for my fitness career ahead!”
“The Goddard School of Huntingdon Valley has been a true blessing for our family—every staff member, from Colleen and Katie to Ms. Pam and Jasmine, treats our children with genuine love, kindness, and professionalism. We wouldn’t choose any other school even with closer options available.”
“I am indebted to this school for how much love they showed my daughter during our 3 years in Philadelphia. As transplants to Philly, the teachers here became like family very quickly. The image of my infant daughter jumping into Ms. Terri's arms each morning just weeks after she started will always be with me.
Every decision this school makes is for the benefit of the children - it's very rare to see that anywhere else. I usually take a very long time to make decisions but I knew while we were on our school tour with the director that this was a special school and we signed up immediately. My daughter started at 9 months through almost 4 years of age and she was taken care of by the most experienced, most patient and most loving teachers along the way at each class level. Now that we are moving away we are having a lot of trouble finding a school that compares to this one.
If you are reading reviews searching for a school here are some things I recommend thinking about:
1) This school has 501(c)(3) Not for Profit status which is very rare amongst Montessori schools or any daycare/early childhood facility these days. While nearly every other school is started as a franchise or business by someone with questionable educational credentials, the money that those schools spend on taxes or corporate administrative work is instead funnelled into the educational mission at a not-for-profit school like this one and believe me it shows.
2) You will not find more combined years of Montessori experience than the school leaders have here anywhere in Philadelphia. This translated into real life benefits for us, I give them most of the credit for potty training.
3) They are so intentional about putting hard work into whatever they think is best for the kids. Now that we are moving away and touring other schools we're realizing well stocked fresh fruit and snacks, facilitating individualized pizza birthday parties and family oriented school community events are not things to take for granted. We were also completely blown away by how much work went into the graduation ceremony.
To the staff: thank you so much for what you do.
I give this school my highest recommendation.”
