Sewing Original Stitches is a great and very nice quilt shop. It is a cute little shop and a hidden gem in Midland, PA, located across the street from the post office. The shop has a good selection of well-known, lovely, and high-quality fabrics, plus notions, thread, and patterns. There is a ton of things in the small shop. The owner is wonderful, very knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and personable. The owner offers great suggestions and is willing to answer questions and demonstrate techniques. Beginners quilting classes provide a very good experience in a relaxed setting. It is a bonus for the sewing community and a great little shop to visit.
My granddaughter was graduating and we thought a quilt showing her childhood memories would make a beautiful gift. Since I have no knowledge of quilting or sewing I asked Kim if she could make a quilt for her. The finished product is absolutely amazing. Kim is very talented and I highly recommend her.
