I took my kia shortage in for a small recall they said that it might be about a 2 hour wait . The waiting room was very clean with a drink dispenser and coffee , a second with room is very roomy and clean with music playing in the back ground . The staff was very friendly and polite and my car only took 1 1/2 hours to return to me . The service advisor scott walked me to my car and asked if there was anything else that I would need he was there to help . Great place for service and sales.

I bought a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica from them . I drove the car for a few days and started having electrical problems with it took it to a local dealership and said it needed a 800 dollar wiring harness. I called jim shorkey service and they said they won't cover it. Even the 3 months 3000 miles coverage they give you still won't pay. So it's at your own risk when you buy a used vehicle from them. Once you drive it off the lot it's your expense now. Very unhappy they don't stand by the vehicle when you only had it a couple days

Bought several cars here. Last time bought their Comprehensive Luxe Care warranty that also covers corrosion. Have corrosion and paint is bubbled..denied coverage. Was told when purchasing, that it covers interior and exterior, bumper to bumper. Shorkey said they have to replace the entire door, simply by looking at the bubbles in the paint. Took it to a body shop and they told me they can't know that without sanding it down to metal. Do not let them sell you a warranty or go here for body issues. The warranty company does not honor it. I promise I'm getting a refund on the warranty or the repair covered one way or another. I'm just getting started.

Had a great experience finding a car for my dad! We had Steve Mackoff work with us, he was very friendly and accomodating to our situation. He always made us feel welcomed, answered all of our questions, and made sure my dad got his dream car!

Don't waste your time if you're an experienced buyer. Against my instincts and better judgment I waited while Shorkey played with numbers only to not reach an agreeable number. I was presented a first set of numbers and declined. I wrote a satisfactory figure on the deal sheet and the salesman
Mark disappeared to management and came back a short time later and told me Shorkey accepted it. He presented no re-written deal and I took him at his word. Only to find out two days later while wanting to take delivery of the car that the final number, interest rate and payment was higher. Mark did make a good effort finding us a vehicle we liked. No other positives. Will go elsewhere when we get back from OBX.

Honestly this was the worst customer service experience I've ever had not only was I racially profiled they used very manipulative tactics to make me uncomfortable during the car buying process along with telling me a lot of misinformation and wasting my time I would recommend buying from any other dealership they seem to mis the point of working at a dealership which is to sell cars you are better of going to a dealership more focused on getting their customers into cars instead to profiling their customers it was as if they felt a sense of entitlement and should be the ones who personally decide what cars someone can and cannot drive based upon their own personal preferences

Bad business ethics. They sent an employee to fix paperwork at a funeral. The employee walked in and asked the widow to sign papers as the business screwed up on there end . How is this ok for any business. Will never purchase a vehicle from this company.

Test drove a car on Thursday evening, no one there to look at my trade and they were closing, but my trade wasn't part of the equation, as I am keeping the car so I told the salesman to put together numbers and get back to me, I was very interested in this hard to find car I had been looking for. I couldn't make it out the next day but again I asked for sales numbers...sales manager texted me Sat to see when I could come out...I replied I was interested and would like to see some numbers on the vehicle (no point in going out there again if I couldn't get him to give me his deal in writing.) Salesman texted later to say the car had been sold. What part of "I'm interested, get me numbers" do these guys not understand? I'm back to square one looking for the car I like. Wont be buying at Shorkey though.

The automatic text message I received had a link to schedule the appointment myself. I tried several times, but it didn't work. I finally gave up and called the dealership service department. The folks in service were great, and had me squared away for an appointmentment in seconds. When my service was completed, they offered me a free car wash, which was awesome.

I have within the last two years bought two cars from Jim Shorkey dealerships and been very satisfied with not only their service but their professional courtesy. However I recently helped my Son purchase a car from Jim Shorkey Mitsubishi, a dealership I had not previously Dealt with. He bought a 2010 Chevy Malibu with low mileage which was very encouraging. He drove the car for about a week and the dashboard went out. He took it back to them and they agreed to fix it. He got it back and it still did not work right and the car didn’t seem to be driving right. At this point he’s owned the car for just under three weeks but has only driven it for about a week. He took it back to them and they told him they had used a used part which apparently didn’t work so they had to order a new one which they would replace. They told him to drive it until then and they would let him know when the new part was in. He had not driven it long when the whole car died and would not drive. He towed it back to them on his own expense and they said that the transmission was bad. They would fix it for him but he would have to pay for it. The best they could do was offer him an employee discount so they estimated about $2500. He bought a car in good faith from them drove it for maybe at best 10 days and the transmission went. The car had less than 70,000 miles on it and they’re saying they are not responsible for the transmission. This is at best shady used car dealership action and I am totally blown away that a reputable company like Jim Shorkey would treat one of their customers like this. They should be responsible for what they sell. Do not buy a used car from this dealership unless it comes with an outstanding warranty. They don’t back up what they sell.

Had a great experience with the purchase of my vehicle in 2019 but when I traded it in two years later and tried to cancel and recover a credit owed from the GAP insurance that I took out on it, everyone seems to disappear! Huh?! Anyone else have this problem??

Received a call 6 months after buying my truck to see if I was enjoying it and to see if I had any problems. Ayla was the best during and after my buying experience. Customer service is top notch!

We had an incredible experience buying our Outlander last week. When another local dealer fell short on their customer service we called Austin from their parking lot and drove the extra 15 miles to visit his location. Best decision ever!
