“I love shopping in this store because they are very reasonable, especially on seasonal items,. cashiers are very friendly, especially Kim, but I have one complaint about one gentleman, I believe he's in charge of furniture, he's very rude & lazy!! Everyone else is very pleasant...Last year I had purchased a pool and chairs, while I was struggling, he was leaning against the wall smoking his cigarette,after I had everything in the car, he asked me. I guess there's always one bad egg ?Other than that I love Big lots ?”

“Let me start off by saying I am a regular here, but lately I've been seeing that the store has been more organized, with items on the correct shelves and multiple items to choose from. Earlier today, I was having a difficult time trying to find a couple of gifts for my five-year-old nephew's birthday party. I thought this young lady, Andrea, was the manager the way she carried herself. She was extremely helpful, and if it wasn't for her, I don't think I could've put this goodie bag together for my nephew Thank you so much; either she deserves a raise or another position. ”

I went there for my first time today to browse and shop for some items that I needed and some late and last minute shopping needs. You must download The Gabe's Store App in your Google Play Store. “This was my first visit to this store as I work nearby. Masks are optional as of my late May 2021 visit. Upon entering I was a bit impressed. This is the first Dollar General I've seen that has a little produce section! I understand this was recently added and I thought it was a great idea. They have a lot of nice budget friendly home deco/outdoor deco items-- you'll pay a lot less here than in more expensive big box stores and I was pretty impressed with what they offered. On my most recent visit I grabbed three colorful table torches and a big bottle of fuel for around $15. I've shopped for these on websites and the torches alone are over $20 (for a set of three). A self checkout register is available, but on my visit, it wasn't operable. The bags they give you are thick plastic and hella sturdy. I'll get many other uses out of these! The check-out girl seems less than thrilled, but my motto is "Kill 'em with kindness!!" so I gave her a smile and a "have a great day!" and she seemed to perk up a little!”

“A quick place to run for home decor , makeup , toothpaste pizza creamers milk eggs cleaning products to cat litter and food to dog toys to dog snacks bags and food. They truly have a ton to shop for your needs. Also sve your coupon as Saturday you can get 5.00 off of spending 20. Its attached to your receipt. A must to use as save 5 for your kids piggy bank or save for gas weekly. I found some pretty rustic lamps and vintage light bulbs. Gorgeous flowers and vases. I must say the sales on home decor you cannot beat.. the selection I would put in my house. My daughters home has over 20 items from here and the guests always ask. Need I say more. ??”

“Dollar general is my favorite store. They have eveveything i need! I love going there ! The employes are like my children! They are never to busy to help you!! They are kind and respectful!! “Been shopping here since they opened. This Store has a Great Selection of items & covers a Diverse Atmosphere of Customers. They have Most of the Items you will find in a grocery store nearby & Prices are Reasonable here. Workers are Excellent at their jobs & are Friendly, Helpful, Respectful, and Polite to Customers. Hours are great here too, especially when making a late night run!”

“I shop at the family dollar on Main Avenue in Scranton PA, I would like to say the manager Dez is such an asset to the store she is very friendly always stops what she does to lend the customer a helping hand. That is my favorite family dollar store to shop manager Dez goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are satisfied. Hopefully she will be recognized by her Mangers. GREAT JOB DEZ.”

“I had an excellent conversation with Jeremy and his staff... He was friendly and his employees under him keep this location in outstanding immaculate condition!... His employees work ethics shows that they truly care about what they are doing for DG and it's customers!... Take note DG as you got an excellent young man running the show... One negative I noticed is that the employees did not have DG shirts on other than Jeremy!... I asked them where is there uniforms and Jeremy said they have to pay for them!?!?... DG you are a multi billion dollar corporation that needs to smarten up and take good care of your employees... This is the most unprofessional look seeing employees running around the store with different logo t shirts... When I asked them all would you like shirts or vests they all said yes absolutely we would but they are $10... If you don't provide them shirts, I will be and I am sure you don't want your customer doing that for your employees!”
“Many food items on the shelf are expired or about to expire. The location is nice. The only upside to shopping at DG is avoiding the crowds and a good selection of general merchandise items.”
“Not too much to say, this is your standard dollar tree where everything is a dollar. Shelves are usually well stocked and there is a wide and changing selection of seasonal items. Only negative experience is that at times there can be long lines due to a plethora of people in the store. Do yourself a favor and check thr parking lot to see how full they are. If you don't have the time skip until later when the parking lot isn't as full.”
“Went there the other day and Karen this lady named every item I had PLUS literally counted my changed by the name 2 penny's 3 one dollar bills ect. Like what? Idk if she was taking this seriously or a joke but was so slow the other lady working there with Karen looked like she had to work harder as Karen cashing me out for 20 min I could have been left the store smh don't go cash out near Karen ? has alot if items in the store though other then that dont cash at at Karen's register slow work ethic”
“I think the store is just fine, reading a lot of complaining in the reviews and I think that if you don't have nothing nice to say just keep quiet and give it a low rating is all. In case you haven't noticed this world is not perfect. I find what I need no prob and if they don't have it I go elsewhere. The blonde girl in there is super cute too”
