“I would like to give a special thank you to the lady who was working as the cashier at Dollar General on September 4, 2026, around closing time. She was extremely nice, polite, and professional. I had an issue that needed assistance, and she took the time to help me and handled the situation appropriately and efficiently.
Even though it was close to closing, she remained patient and had a very pleasant attitude. Her customer service truly stood out to me, and I appreciate the way she treated me and helped resolve my problem. Employees like her make a difference and deserve recognition for their hard work and kindness. Thank you for such a positive experience!”

“It is thought to be if the racks of clothing out side the store are reduced in price. I found out when I checked out they were regular price. Don't they know those are to be of lower price, that's why they are there. Not happy.”
“This location is a FedEx drop point advertising packaging up to 55 lbs. and girth of 165 inches. I've found that what things say online about drop points and what is reality is often different, and figured I'd check with my large package prior to lugging it in. Although the package was out of character from their usual, the cashier and manager were very accommodating and helped me out. Much appreciated, and we're grateful to be so close to thislocation,. “I don't mind going here for quick in and out bits. However, the prices are actually more than local shops like Wal-Mart and there's always long lines and there can be an employee at the register doing whatever but won't even jump in to help. Gets a bit frustrating. Most of the employees are nice at least.”
“I love Family Dollar. Prices are decent. Some I find deals on some I feel are over priced. But I shop there weekly. I spend a lot of money there. Quick run in stops to full shopping cart stops.Sorry no photos. But my store had recently been remodeled and is nice.”

“Great collection of garments, souvenirs, knick-knacks and everything in between!
We felt the garments were priced a bit high but perhaps comprehensible given the location but everything else was priced okay.
The store was quite busy on the Saturday we visited.
Parking is a challenge, of course, but not if we park for the day and walk the charming town and broadway.”
