“OMG the most amazing assortment of candies and treats! If you like peanut butter cups, you absolutely must try the milk chocolate peanut butter smoothies candy. They are to die for!”
“First timer! What a treat, literally...we talked mitzvah planning, friendship circles and I got a whole tour to see each product that would fit my needs/wants, can't wait to work with Jody for special events, insta friends!”
“Zipf’s is a tiny hidden gem right off of Germantown Ave. The selection is overwhelming for the size of the place. The staff is friendly and helpful. We bought 8 different truffles & a small Dubai chocolate - everything was good. Pricing was fair. This is also a good spot to check out for nostalgic candy.”
“I love so much about this place. The bakery is one of the best in the area. The only thing I don't like is the prices. High in comparison to numerous other grocery stores. But the good here most definitely outweighs the bad!”
“You need to go here - incredible! I got the coconut curry almonds which are such a beautiful yet subtle flavor, and the dark chocolate covered oreos which are proper dark flavor and have a good snap. Their prices are also very reasonable, way more affordable and better tasting than Shane Confectionary and certain shops in Reading Terminal. Super pretty store too. Ive lived in Philly for two years and its really hard to find the great places hiding among the overpriced-but-mid tourist spots, but this is definitely one I will return to for its quality. Employees super nice too.”
“Customer service was outstanding and supportive and the candy was delicious. So fresh. We’ve had Swedish candy before and it was lackluster in flavor. Each type of Swedish candy we got was a burst of flavor. It was our first time visiting and it won’t be our last.”
“A cute antique candy shop. It’s a must visit place. Great for kids to see. The old school cash register is too cool. The staff is really nice. Fair warning, the chocolates are expensive, but worth it. The raspberry sherbet bar I purchased was very delicious.”
“I just bought 4 bags of sunflower seeds, which I typically do from Nuts to You. The price is nice (all locations are not equal though) and they aren't super salty. They taste way better now too. I had stopped buying them cause the taste was not wonderful at all to my taste buds.”
“A awesome custom order was created with thoughtful details and attention to our wishes! Thank you Christopher and team for all you do. Appreciate your patience working with us to create these one of a kind gifts for our guests.”
“The address for this business, 1500 Market Street, is a bit misleading. I believe the only entrance (the one I used) is on 16th Street just south of Market Street. My first visit to this location, which seemed consistent with the other locations in terms of available products. As usual with this local chain of stores, they are a great resource, especially when it comes to the holiday baking. If you're outfitting your gingerbread house, this is the equivalent of Lowes or Home Depot. Competitive pricing on their dates and walnuts. Although I do wish they carried organic products as well. I found when getting home that one item I had bagged up was apparently left behind on the counter. Calling the store, I was assured that whether or not I had actually paid for it, the item would be held for me to pick up later. Note that they have a frequent shopper program, so I was able to take several dollars off my bill with the credit that had accumulated, and which I didn't even know about. Nice!”
“I drove over 45 minutes to get to the location as I recently moved to Philly and miss that classic peanut butter smidgen taste-my points system wasn’t working but the great lady behind the counter gave me a huge discount for my troubles!
I didn’t expect it but it really made my day :)”
“I ordered fudge from here for my wedding welcome bags (boardwalk themed!). It was so easy to communicate with Marilyn when ordering and picking up at Reading Terminal. So many people commented on how good the fudge was too!”

“A good location with a decent amount of stock on display. Shop early because it's a popular store. My last visit was a bit aggravating since the cashier was talking a bit much and not focusing on the line building up in queue and everyone was getting aggravated. For some reason she was easily distracted by other issues around her and hard for her to focus on ringing a sale to completion without interruption. None of the self checkout registers were working unfortunately. Nonetheless, still one of my favorite stores.”
“Excellent place to buy reminders at a very good price, a lot of variety for all tastes and budgets. The store is small but its owner makes it very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I recommend visiting it, you won't regret it.”
