“I happened to need to go to this location because the one closer to me was temporarily closed. As soon as I walked in a staff member greeted me and two more made sure I was finding everything okay. The selection is vast and the store pleasant-- they had exactly what I needed and more! Also worth noting, there are some marked "DCR" spaces for convenient parking right in front of the entrance so you can slip in and out without having to navigate across an already full parking lot.”

“Cool Dog Gear - it’s kind of in the name. They have all sorts of toys, treats, collars, harnesses, etc. They also host training sessions, have obstacle courses setup in the back, and have other dog-centric events. Most importantly the staff and owner(s) are wonderful. I went in with my dog to purchase a new harness and they took the time to help me find exactly what fit, let me try it on the dog before purchasing, and in general were just very pleasant and helpful. It’s nice to be able to support a small local business rather than relying on the typical online retailers or larger chains - give Cool Dog Gear a visit.”

“Always a pleasure to visit for our hobby farm needsJust check your receipt before leaving. Second time I was overcharged at checkout in the last couple of weeks. This one was for 40.00 so I won't be letting it go. When I’m looking for special treats, specific toys/puzzles, a certain brand or something that fits my dog who is outside the range of sizes most chains offer, I’m at Dogs&Cats. I always find what I need here. Staff is generally young, has always been friendly to us as customers.It’s a bit cramped inside and there’s a bunch of loose items, so fair warning if you have any mobility issues or a larger dog.”

“I took my dog to dog training to prepare for the CGC test. My dog has previous experience in dog training. Our trainer Lindsay is absolutely the best! We took the 6 week course to prepare for the test . She was very knowledgeable in the material. Her suggestions and corrections help out a lot. Her experience with all types of dogs is phenomenal. I would highly recommend the dog training at Petco and I would also recommend Lindsey as well she will exceed your expectations.”
