In September 2023 my post on google credited knowledge of the staff is wonderful. I stand by that statement. however I will comment on quality of product today. September, 15th I purchased a white gold chain for my son‘s birthday, a pricey investment for a seventeen -year-old but I wanted a quality chain that was going to hold a family heirloom. I have now returned the chain four times for repair. today I picked it up at 11:30 and I’m already back at the store at 3:30 because it Disintegrated in my hands when I was putting it around my son’s neck. The last time I brought the chain back (third repair)the sales woman told me that more than likely they would not be able to repair this item and would be given an Option to find another chain in the store. I believe it was called a DND, (no idea what that means, but was told those 3 letters) I wasn’t planning on taking my business elsewhere until today. I know that it is not the fault of the people who work in the store that their product is faulty. My problem is how many times does it have to be repaired in the same spot before the business acknowledges this cannot be fixed properly by their staff. By having this piece of jewelry, repaired more than three times now you are losing a customer. I would be happy to continue to keep my business with Kay if The company could acknowledge that four times is excessive for a piece of jewellery to be sent back and repaired in the same spot. It has been in their care for repair now 77 days since purchase on September 15, 2023.

After purchasing a bracelet for my wife, less than a year ago, the bracelet has broken 3x including most recent. After the third time breaking, I've asked the store if I can exchange the bracelet, once the repair was completed, due to the continuous issue. I was informed that the repair shop has to deem it unrepairable before I can exchange it, but I was told due to it breaking 3x, less than a year after purchasing, they would allow me to exchange it. Upon picking up my repaired bracelet (fyi, I have to drive 45 minutes one way to this location or the next nearest location, which is KOP) the acting manager on site stated that I cannot exchange the bracelet due to their (Kay's policy) which states, per the acting manager, the jewelry has to break 3x in the same exact location, within 6 months, in order for the replacement warranty to kick in. After hearing this for the 1st time, I was speechless and frustrated. So, I've asked the acting manager is this policy on a store to store basis or across the board. The acting manager states across the board and has been in effect for well over 5 years, that she can remember. So, I've asked if I can see this policy written via brochure or online. The acting manager as well as another sales assistant (who was very helpful) was looking for the said policy, but was unsuccessful in locating the said policy. The only policy that was visibly written was that the repair shop has to deem it unrepairable, before a merchandise replacement warranty kicks in. The policy doesn't state the number of repair attempts nor does it states that it must break in the same location numerous of times, the item just has to be deemed unrepairable. After driving back and forth on 3 different occasions less than a year of purchase (45 minutes each way), after the acting manager was unable to provide visible said policy, I was told that unfortunately, it cannot be exchange and if it happens again, I just have to keep driving to the location to have it repaired. No matter how many more times the bracelet may break (which it will again) it cannot be exchange until the repair shop deem it unrepairable. All 3 repairs were a simple break which all was required was it to be soldered back together. The turn around time for all 3 repairs were about 2 weeks. Now, what's the odds of the next break to be deemed unrepairable by the repair shop. All I was looking for was to simply exchange it for something of equal value and to avoid a 45 minute one way drive every other month. Thanks Kay, for not living up to your "mission" of outstanding customer experience. I will spend my money else were where the company mission is upheld, not on a store to store basis, but across the board.

Nicolette was our sales consultant and was wonderful to us. She showed us many options of what we were specifically looking for. She was able to find a perfect math to compliment my engagement ring! She also found one for my fiancé as well! Great service, very friendly and down to earth! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience today!

She made us feel very important and we are so pleased with the customer service that she provided us with during our search.Rachel contacted me about the rings because we decided to have his wedding band engraved. Rachel went above and beyond to ensure that the engraving was exactly what we requested. She made me laugh and very very happy! I made a visit to Kay's to order a custom engagement ring. The staff was super helpful and friendly! I applied for a Kay Card, which allowed me to make interest free payments for a year. Took about 15 minutes to get the approval. The communication was excellent during the process, keeping me informed on the status of the custom ring. Stop in and see Nicolette if you're looking for a customer piece of jewelry. Highly recommend!

I went in on Wednesday and Rachael helped me out in deciding what I wanted in my engagement ring! She was so honest and open about all of the selections that they had! She was just a kind person all around. It almost felt like I was talking to a best girlfriend while searching for my future ring! I went into Kay Jewelers to get a watch as a birthday present. Lexi helped me find the perfect watch. She was quick, kind, polite, and best of all, kept me laughing as I was waiting to be rung up.
