“Gas is so much cheaper than other close gas stations around. You have to be a member, but the plus side is they do certain deals, and if you buy the item that shows a gas pump, it takes additional money off at the pumps. The only downfall is if you filled up elsewhere and then shop there, you can't use the gas reward coupons because your car is already full. It's hit or miss with having to get gas, and when you need to shop, because sometimes we blow through gas and you never know when the coupons come etc.”
“Price of gas is usually the lowest in this area. Pump had slowed down and they had to reboot the computer. Waited an extra 10 min. In the cold to finish pumping gas.”
“The guys working in the tire department are fantastic they earned the 5 stars! The problem is…they also have to work the front desk AND handle all propane sales and fill ups. This has them running all over the place dealing with way too much. Even with that, they still had my tires installed as quickly as they could.
Lancaster BJ’s should really look into hiring an additional person to handle the front desk and the propane, so these guys can do their actual jobs and install tires!”

“Today, June 24, 2024 was an interesting experience. As I was turning into aisle 325 I believe it was, to get some butter, there was a lady on each side passing out samples. I don't know what ticked the one lady off but she was griping about something to point where I could see a guy behind me glancing at her and she sounded very nasty and rude. Not even sure who she was talking to but totally unprofessional. Then as I was walking out of the aisle her and I met eye contact and it definitely was not friendly. It felt like I was being mean mugged. She should not be working with the public.”
“I was a Bj's member for 35 years and enjoyed the stores products and prices. After moving I went there less and less often to the point of this year when I cancelled the membership. Having auto-renewal something went wrong and I was incorrectly charged. I sent a note to Capital One (who administered the financing and credit) however it was ignored and then the debt fees and interests compiled to where the amount owed was now DOUBLE the yearly renewal fee! I figured I better bite the bullet because in today's world it seems like corporations take advantage of the customer. I wrote a nasty email to BJ's. To my surprise Stella (and on last email Keith) took it upon themselves to right the situation and I was replenished the full amount (late fees, penalty and interest). “Good place for groceries and other things. Great place for glasses. Good for gas as well. If you need tires this is the place to go. Free tire rotation & repair. Wait for free mounting on the tires you want & when they are on sale. Staff in tire department is the best anywhere.”
