Pampered Pups by Marissa LLC
1165 Hill Rd, LansdaleJust finished a 2-week vacation overseas with Marissa and her team caring for 2 elderly Shepards in our home. This is the first time we used Pampered Pups. They came highly recommended from neighbors. They didn't disappoint. They were a WOW. Will use them again. Great reports and photos every time they came to our house. I believe our dogs were disappointed when we came home. We use Disney's Pet Care facility when we are in FLA. Marissa and her team out-Disney Disney. Would highly recommend them. They are great.

I never felt once like I needed to check on him. I knew he was in perfect and attentive hands with Victoria and her staff.
While I didn’t ask, Victoria sent photos of him playing with the other campers and you could tell he was having an amazing time!!

2205 Wentz Church Rd, LansdaleI don’t need my black lab to do tricks or rollover or do anything like that. My goal is to have her be “civilized.” To not jump up on people. To walk nicely beside me. To come when called. To drop things she picks up when I tell her to. To not freak out whenever a neighbor with a dog walks past. I have finally found the solution to all of this…
I have tried training my dog with two different online programs and several group classes with other trainers. For all the time and money spent with these groups, the results were very minimal. (After several weeks of daily training with the online program, my dog would look at me when I said her name… That’s it!)
Meanwhile, after I discovered John and Molly’s Country Kennels, within 2 training sessions Raven was loose leash walking, would stay when told to, and was noticeably more “civilized.” Now, when we are walking and come to an intersection, she stops and sits without even being told to.
I’ve had a few more sessions since, and she is well on her way to no longer being reactive around other dogs, squirrels, rabbits, or deer — and coming instantly when called. It’s especially nice that he can bring other dogs into the sessions to work on reactivity and overcoming distractions.
John really knows his stuff!He is wonderful with dogs and people. Raven is always very happy and excited to see him, and he is excellent about explaining to me what we are doing and why (without making me feel stupid.) Because of this, I can continue with training on my own, confident that I am doing it right.
When we are training, I never feel rushed or like he is watching a clock. We make significant improvements with her behavior every session. His staff (especially Debbie) are very friendly and helpful. It is clear that John’s caring, patient and positive attitude permeates his business.
John’s facilities are amazing! The nicest I have ever seen. (He even has an in-ground pool for the dogs in the summer!) And I can tell by how he introduces dogs to each other that he really pays attention to how they are interacting, to make it a great experience for the dogs. We haven’t gone on vacation yet to board my dog, but I am sure that when we do, Raven will have as good a vacation as I do! I trust John to keep Raven safe and happy.
After a few sessions, someone who hadn’t seen Raven in a few months asked me how old she was. (She is a black lab, about to turn 4. Super high energy.) He thought maybe she was older because she was no longer barking or going crazy when people and other dogs walked past. She is just as high energy, but now she’s becoming civilized.
If you’re looking for a training experience that is positive for you and your dog, or for a boarding kennel that your dog will love, John and Molly’s Country Kennels is the place to go.

839 W Main St, LansdaleI cannot say enough great things about Lansdale Tavern! It was our first time there and it won't be our last! We came in late last night to check it out after being recommended by a friend of mine. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was full of energy and inviting. We sat in the dining room, and it was such a vibe! We had the pleasure of having, Lisa as our server-she was so awesome! We go out to a lot of places, and the service really makes or breaks the establishment and the service we received last night was off the charts incredible! She was attentive, friendly and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our time there. The other staff members that were working last night were so awesome as well. They were busting their butts and as a restaurant manager, I appreciated all that hard work that I noticed happening around me. Lisa was super helpful at recommending items. She told me to get the blueberry Collins, and I am so happy I did, because it was fantastic! We ordered the sweet potato fries and cheesesteak spring rolls off the late night menu. The food was absolutely delicious-everything was fresh, flavorful and prepared with thoughtfulness. It is difficult now and days to find a place that excels in every category, but this one absolutely did! I highly recommend checking this place out! Cannot wait to return to check out more food and drink options! Thank you for such a great first time experience!! 10/10!!!

Boardroom Spirits Bottle Shop and Event Space
595 W 3rd St, LansdaleI was at Boardroom with a friend for the fall cocktail workshop. We've been to Boardroom many times, but this was our first time at one of the cocktail workshops. It was a ton of fun! The drinks were easy to make. The way they had things laid out for each set of folks was super convenient. The portions were more than generous and you could have easily made multiples of each drink. I appreciated that I could also cut the recipies in half since I had an hour drive home after. Trivia was a blast, even if we only got 1 out of 9 questions right. With all of the ingredients for three drinks and a 4-pack of canned cocktails for each ticket, it's WELL worth the price.
I have to give Chris a particular shout-out. There was a large group together at a table and from the very beginning it was obvious to the while room that at least some of the group had already had quite a bit to drink. As the workshop went on the group got louder and louder to the point that it was hard to hear what Chris and Max were saying. They were asked a number of times to quiet down and some of the folks in the group chose to escalate things instead. Chris took the comfort and fun factor of everyone there into consideration and asked the group to leave. They weren't great about it and were taking video and threatening bad reviews. Chris stood his ground and didn't back down because it was important to him that the other 20+ people there were able to enjoy themselves. He handled the whole thing professionally and tried hard to keep the disruption to a minimum. Kudos to him for handling a difficult situation!

575 S Broad St, LansdaleI've been meaning to try this place and finally got the chance to. We ordered the Fat Mac Sampler and The Home Wrecker. The service was very good, and the space was nice. The food was definitely well-smoked but lacked depth. It wasn't bad, but it only tasted really good when dipped in their sauce. The best meat was the brisket -- it had the most flavor. Our least favorites were the sausage and pulled pork. Overall, the meat was very tender and has great potential.
