“Every Science teacher in Philadelphia should be taking advantage of this amazing local resource! Talk about the ultimate field trip! My fifth graders had an amazing, informative and super-engaging experience. Field trips are lead by a team of expert environmental educators who have created a curriculum that is incredibly thoughtful, fun and standards-aligned.There are programs for all ages, K-12. (Preschool too!) Available topics include sustainability, ecosystems, trees, soil and many more! Grant funding was available for my Title I school, making the trip completely free! The Center is also open to the public year-round!The folks at The Schuylkill Center are absolute pros! Each person has their own expertise and specialty; they were all so knowledgeable! Our bus was met by the staff at the Welcome Center. After bathroom and water breaks, they did a circle-up to go over expectations. We separated into small groups and cycled through four stations over the course of the morning, hiking from one station to another.After lunch at the pavilion, we hiked as a group to the Forest Free Play area, which is an awesome pine grove that is set up for tree climbing, fort building and general exploring. The kids had an absolute BLAST! It was so fun!Shoutout to Teachers Sam, Sky, Jason, Declan, Amelia and all of the hardworking folks who are so dedicated to preserving a true Philadelphia Treasure! “I don’t even have the words to express how special this place is. My daughter does half day 4 year olds and she absolutely loves it. She looks forward to going to school, loves her teachers, and has learned SO much. The teachers and staff are so kind, patient, and truly love what they do. They do so much for the kids. They take them on trips, do many learning activities and crafts, and truly care about these kids. I cannot believe how much my daughter has learned in such a short amount of time. Sending your child here is the best decision you’ll ever make for them.”

“My family attended for 3 years 2020-2023 and we loved every teacher starting in baby room up through prek. We relocated out of state or would’ve stayed longer. My girls enjoyed going to school and readily went in making drop off easy and not heart breaking. They learned so much and were eager to share they’re crafts and activities with me. The environment is welcoming and warm and feels like you’re leaving your children with family for the day.”

“The Goddard School of Bala is absolutely wonderful. Their staff is incredibly friendly and they all care so deeply about our child. I know my child is in great hands and most importantly always very safe while in their care. There are so many organized activities, arts and crafts, etc planned and my child absolutely loves going every day! I am so thankful for them and all that they do. “We LOVE Under the Sun! We had to wait a while for a spot to open up for our daughter in the infant room, but that's only because word is getting out that this is THE place to send your babies. They truly have your children's best interest at heart, love them like they're their own, and are so good about communicating with us about our girl through the app and phone calls. We just had baby #2 and he will be joining his sister once I go back to work. The teachers have met our boy and already love him. While maternity leave ending will be so hard, knowing that he's already loved there makes it a little easier on this mama's heart. I only wish they could take a picture every day for the app, but seeing how busy the toddlers are, I understand why/how they can't! We can't recommend Under the Sun enough - just plan ahead and be patient with the waiting list... I promise, it's worth the wait! It was for us <3”

“Reason why I gave COA 4 stars because in my personal opinion they school overall is great there staff is great and class room for the lower level is ok and they also have cameras in the the room which I love because I get to see my baby. I also like the fact nobody can just walk in you need your door code to get into the building. But let's go back my bby first day was June 23 2020 just was 3 months and the staff at the time was amazing except one teacher she was a bit lazy to me again there are just my opinions anyway the one pain teacher she had we will call her ms.m she was wonderful but sad to say she left out of no where no explanation was giving to the parents wasn't told until a few days later she is no longer there. So no she get stuck with the lazy one for a while then it was time for her to move to the next room where she get another amazing teacher I liked. So now she is one and she moved on again got teacher who was great at everything she did, my favorite thing about her was she thought the kids sign language Loved it but then after a while she left. ugh...... but lol now she has another teacher and she do a good job my bby has learned so much for being at this center I would recommend it.”

“TYL 2 is a excellent child Care facility which lives up to its four star Montessori rating. Not only is the facility clean but the staff is very attentive to needs of every single child that enrolls into their program. I have personally worked for the company for about 5 years. It's a very family-friendly environment that warms my soul every time I come to visit. Their food program is top tier collaborating with some of the best nutritionist in Philadelphia. I've seen kids enrolled from when they were three up until the after school program they are 10 years old. “My daughter has been going for a semester and it’s made a huge difference in her. I can see her math, English, Chinese skills shot up. She’s now doing three digit additions as a pre k student. In English, she’s learning all her cite words, reading, and writing. And her Chinese skills are much better in terms of reading writing and conversing. What’s more important is that she’s developing great study and life habits where she’s excited to read, can’t wait to spell, and thirsting to be challenged with new math problems. She’s also speaking more clearly, describing things more completely when communicating. As a result, I can also see her confidence in herself boosted as well. So glad we made this choice to go to this great school. The teachers have been tremendous!”
