They told me to drop the truck off in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day, and they got the job done quickly and professionally. They were also the most affordable option in the area.

“My battery warning light came on and was told at Autozone that my battery was good but most likely needed a new alternator. I called Jim’s and were able fit me in right away. I came first thing just before our winter vacation for them to look at it. Jim’s figured out that the connectors were loose. It was a Christmas miracle! To my surprise, within under an hour of THEIR time, they fastened it and told me that I did not even have to pay. Jim’s service and kindness, especially around this holiday season made my day. This is the kind of neighborhood shop that really gets it (unlike some of these corporate-auto-grinches minus Roxborough Autozone). I had to repay the favor by giving them a rave review. Thank you! “I've been coming here for inspection and maintenance for years. This is definitely one of the best shops around. It's almost always pretty busy so it's best to call ahead to schedule appointment. There's no dedicated parking lot (like most shops in Philly), but there's plenty of street parking nearby when dropping off the vehicle. They always explain if there's any fixes needed and get your approval before doing any work. They never try to push any unnecessary services or charge any surprise fees. A++”

“EXCELLENT OVERALL!! The receptionist as well as the mechanics are very professional. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My car got the help it needed: flat tire, oil change and also tire replacement. I have decided to make them my official mechanics. The prices are excellent and they do the work in a timely and efficient manner. My usual mechanics are around Chinatown, and let’s just say, I’m not going back $$$. I wish I had known about Valenzuela’s Tire Shop sooner. Their prices and friendly environment immediately made me feel that I was at the right place. “HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment!! My college student’s car passed inspection (at a place near home) but they told us the rear brakes needed to be replaced. They were headed back to school so I called a well known chain near campus that was running a “brake special” and after looking at the car they told me it needed over $1700 worth of work. I declined and sent her over to pick up the car—when she went to pick it up they told her not to drive the car more than 25 miles without bringing it back in to have the wheels tightened….WHAT??? Enter Wynnewood Park Service. I called and spoke to Dennis who patiently answered all my questions and scheduled an appointment to look at the car. We had to reschedule the appointment due to the snowstorm, but they looked at the car this morning and it needs….NOTHING—at least not right now. He said the brakes will need replacing but not immediately and that I could safely wait til later in the spring/summer to do the work. He also gave me an estimated cost that was far more reasonable than the first place. As a single mom with a college kid on a fairly tight budget I deeply appreciated his honesty and his explanations of what he found and what would be needed. It was refreshing to work with a shop who operates with such integrity!!!! This will give me time to budget for the work, rather than having to put it on my credit card and I will ABSOLUTELY be returning to Wynnewood Park Service in the spring to have the work done before graduation!!”

“All of the mechanics here are great. Brad is always making sure to hook me up with the best and affordable prices. Once during the winter, instead of wasting my money and our time, he told me to wait till after the ice melts and come back in if the issue was still happening. Huge life saver! I come to this place for all my car work, inspections, oil changes, and any noise my car might make that I'm unsure of. I live fairly close by, and so Brad has also picked me up from my house to come to the shop so that I can pay and take my car home without having to pay for an Uber, or wait for someone else to be free! These guys are worth the time, effort, and money.”
