“This morning we had a very ill 12-year old Smooth Collie. We called Lakeview Animal Clinic and they had the first appointment available. Blood tests were conducted and x-rays were taken. She was treated by Dr. Andy Stas. His knowledge and expertise are astonishing. He diagnosed her with acute gastroenteritis and prescribed meds. Tonight she is recovering well. We are so grateful to Dr. Stas and everyone at the clinic. They are consummate professionals and caring, kind people. We are fortunate to have all of them here.”
“I knew saying goodbye to Charley, a spaniel adopted 15 yrs ago, would be difficult. What surprised me this morning was the genuine caring and sensitivity of all staff involved. Charley thanks you and so do I. Cheers”
“Went the extra mile to take in my Tuxie when no other vet would see him. They did all they could and when it was time to say goodbye to him, they were professional, compassionate and caring. Now they are treating my cat who has cancer. They have gone the extra and mile and made it very clear to me that they are there any time I need them for her. They will go the extra mile for you.”

“You ladies and gentlemen have helped me through some of the roughest times. My last loss was my ferret Noodle... You guys always treat the situation with respect and understanding. You gave me way more time than I expected you to allow me to say goodbye. Just thank you for everything. It's hard to do any of this alone but you guys make it a little bit easier. Ridgeview vet is home ❤️ love you always Noodle, Gary, Stitcher & Angel. But I bet they are having a blast up there together ?”
“I also had a fur baby emergency the day after Christmas and I am so grateful to the staff and doctor for getting us in. My bunny was in GI stasis and I called as soon as they opened. They were able to get him in for an afternoon appointment and I can honestly say they saved his life. The staff was kind and the doctor knew just what to do. As for the other reviews left about the day after Christmas I can tell you that the staff was overwhelmingly busy! They had emergency after emergency and people can only do so much. We waited for an hour but I’m not complaining. I understand that emergencies happen and people can only do their best.
I’m so grateful for the doctor and staff for saving my little guy and I’m happy to say he’s back to normal. ❤️”
“I didn’t even think it was possible for a veterinary clinic to be so reliable, trustworthy and most of all loving and compassionate of our loved ones. They have intelligibly diagnosed and even saved our pets lives twice now (not to mention checkups and small issue resolutions) and have updated us and treated our little ones with the love and support we ourselves would want them to have in all those difficult, stressful and sometimes painful situations. Taking your sick or vulnerable loved ones to a stranger is hard. Five points in Alexandria makes it a luxury. Our family believes these people are angels; every last staff memeber from the counter to the techs to the doctors. Thank you all for years of consistently mind blowingly good service”
“A huge thank you to Latrobe Animal Clinic, Dr. Mary and the entire staff! Yesterday, our pug puppy, Ponyo, was spayed, had her nose opened, and her soft pallet resected. Last night Ponyo had NO storing at all. She sounds fantastic! Her nose and throat getting done is going to absolutely change her life, especially as she gets older. I’m so grateful to have so many people in my life that I trust fully to take care of my pets health, and keep me updated the entire time! She also got microchipped and bloodwork before surgery, and somehow our total came out I think even less than the low side of the estimate! Ponyo is doing fantastic less than 24 hours after surgery, so well in fact we had to call to up her dose of sedatives! I could not recommend Latrobe animal clinic more! They are the absolute best!
Photos are of her nose before and after surgery”
